Miss Europe 2006, was the 58th edition of the Miss Europe pageant and the third and final edition under Endemol France. After this years contest, the pageant was planned for 2007, 2008 & 2009 with it being held in places in Moscow and Beirut. The contest, however, was not held after 2006 and Endemol France stopped the pageant after this edition. The Miss Europe pageant went unheld until 2016 when the newly formed Miss Europe Organization started the pageant back up. This years pageant was held in Kyiv, Ukraine on October 27, 2006. Alexandra Rosenfeld of France, was crowned Miss Europe 2006 by outgoing titleholder Shermine Shahrivar of Germany.

Miss Venezuela is a Venezuelan beauty pageant operated by the Cisneros Group. Founded in 1952, it currently selects Venezuelan representatives to Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss International. The current national director of Miss Venezuela is Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler.
The 2005 European Athletics Indoor Championships were held at the Palacio de Deportes in Madrid, the capital city of Spain, from Friday, 4 March to Sunday, 6 March 2005. This was the first edition to be held in an odd year since switching to the biennial format, so as not to occur in the same as the outdoor European Athletics Championships and also recently moved IAAF World Indoor Championships. To accommodate this change, there was a two-year gap since the previous edition. It also marked the last time that the 200 metres were contested at the event.
Miss Europe is a beauty pageant for women from all over Europe. It was established in February 1927 by Fanamet, the European distributor of Paramount, as a one-off event where the winner was to star in a film directed by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau. After the initial twelve-person jury couldn't decide between 10 contestants, a runoff election was held where Murnau chose the winner. Murnau ended up choosing Štefica Vidačić of Yugoslavia as the winner and the first ever Miss Europe. Miss Europe was later re-established in December 1928 by French journalist Maurice de Waleffe (1874–1946), who also created, in 1920, what by 1927 had become the Miss France pageant. Miss Europe, under de Waleffe, was first held at the Paris Opera with participants from 18 countries. The first contest under de Waleffe did not occur until February 1929.
Alexandra Rosenfeld is a French beauty pageant titleholder who elected Miss France 2006. Representing the region of Languedoc, she succeeded Cindy Fabre as the 77th Miss France on 3 December 2005. She also was crowned Miss Europe 2006.
Miss World 2006, the 56th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 30 September 2006 at the Sala Kongresowa, the main 2,897-seat auditorium of the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, Poland. It was the first time ever that the pageant was held in the Continental Europe and a European city other than London, United Kingdom, having previously been held there in 2002 after the Nigeria Controversy. The pageant officially concluded after Taťána Kuchařová from the Czech Republic was crowned Miss World 2006 by outgoing titleholder Unnur Birna Vilhjálmsdóttir of Iceland.
Miss World 2002, the 52nd edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 7 December 2002 at the Alexandra Palace in London, United Kingdom. It was initially intended to be staged in Abuja, but due to religious riots in the nearby city of Kaduna the pageant was relocated to London.

Miss Vietnam World is a beauty contest for both Vietnamese women in Vietnam and Overseas Vietnamese women from other countries in the world. The pageant is related to Miss World Vietnam but not to the Miss Vietnam pageants. The contest was first held in 2007, and the next was held in August 2010.

Miss Europe 2017 is an international beauty pageant, which was held on May 13, 2017 in Seoul, South Korea, where representatives of 35 countries were competing for the title of the first beauty. The crown and the title “Miss Europe 2017” was given to the contestant from Latvia, 26 years old Diana Kubasova. This was 60th edition of the Miss Europe pageant and the second under the Miss Europe Organization.

Miss Europe 1938, was the 11th edition of the Miss Europe pageant and the tenth and final edition under Maurice de Waleffe. The contest ended due to events leading to World War II. After the war ended Maurice de Waleffe died in 1946 leaving the pageant without an organizer until 1948 when Mr. Roger Zeigler and Claude Berr founded the Mondial Events Organization which started to sponsor and organize the pageant that year. This lasted until 2003 when the Mondial Events Org. sold the pageant to Endemol France. This years contest was held in Copenhagen, Denmark on September 10, 1938. Sirkka Salonen of Finland, was crowned Miss Europe 1938.
