Originally a member of the Order Archaeogastropoda, [2] [3] the species now belongs to Order Lepetellida. [4]

Distribution

This species is seen at Guishan Island of Toucheng Township, Yilan County, Taiwan [2] [5] [3] and Enewetak Atoll of Marshall Islands in West Pacific Ocean. [1] :106,135 The length of the shell is around 10 mm. [1] :106,135

E. Alison Kay was a malacologist, environmentalist, and professor at the University of Hawaiʻi. She was born in Eleele and grew up on the island of Kauai in the Territory of Hawaii, graduated from Punahou School in 1946, and obtained her first B.A. from Mills College in 1950.
