Eny Widiowati (born 12 July 1980) is an Indonesian retired badminton player. [1]

Career

Widiowati was part of the Indonesia junior team that competed at the 1997 and 1998 Asian Junior Championships, winning a silver and bronze in the girls' team event respectively, [2] also finished as the semifinalists in the girls' doubles event, clinched the bronze medals. [3] [4] She then claimed the girls' doubles bronze at the 1998 World Junior Championships in Melbourne. [5]

Widiowati competed in badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics in the mixed doubles with partner Anggun Nugroho. They defeated Nikolai Zuyev and Marina Yakusheva of Russia in the first round but lost to Chen Qiqiu and Zhao Tingting of China in the round of 16. [6] She won the mixed doubles at the 2005 French Open with the Algerian-French player Nabil Lasmari. [7]

Widiowati married two-time world champions and mixed doubles legend Nova Widianto. [8]

Denny Setiawan is an Indonesian badminton player who later represented Singapore. Setiawan joined the PB Djarum club in 2006, and now works as a badminton coach. Setiawan was part of the Indonesia junior team that competed at the 1997 and 1998 Asian Junior Championships, winning a silver and four bronze medals. He had won some international senior tournament in Asian Satellite and also in Oceania, and the 2003 Waikato International tournament impressed him, by defeating the top seeds Keita Masuda and Tadashi Ohtsuka, of Japan.

Jiang Shan is a former Chinese badminton player. Jiang played for the Guangxi team in the national event, and was the runner-up in the men's doubles event at the National Championships tournament. He was the silver and bronze medalists at the 1998 IBF World Junior Championships in the boys' and mixed doubles event respectively. Jiang competed at the 1997 Asian Junior Championships, winning a gold in the boys' team and a bronze in the mixed doubles event. He also captured two gold medals in 1998, in the boys' team and mixed doubles event, and a silver medal in the boys' doubles.

Joanne Quay Swee Ling is a Malaysian former badminton player. Quay was the gold medalist at the 1998 World Junior Championships in the mixed doubles event partnered with Chan Chong Ming. She and Chan also won the silver medal in Asian Junior Championships. She was part of the national team that won the women's team silver medal at the 1998 Commonwelath Games. Quay left the Badminton Association of Malaysia in 2004 and joined the Kuala Lumpur Racquet Club (KLRC). She then went on to study at the Leeds Metropolitan University majoring in sports business management. As a Leeds Met Carnegie, she took part in badminton competition, and at the 2009 BUCS Championships, she won double titles in the women's and mixed doubles event. Quay now works as BAM’s high performance manager.

Eny Erlangga is a former Indonesian badminton player. She was the gold medalist at the 1999 Asian Junior Championships in the mixed doubles event partnered with Hendri Kurniawan Saputra, also clinched the silver medal in the girls' team event. She was part of the Indonesia women's team that won the gold medal at the 2001 Southeast Asian Games. She won a Grand Prix title at the 2001 Thailand Open in the women's doubles event with Jo Novita.

Mona Santoso is an Indonesian former badminton player, and later represented United States. Santoso was part of the Indonesia national team from 1998 to 2000. As a junior player, Santoso was the girls' singles champion at the 1998 Hong Kong Junior Championships, she also helped the Indonesian girls' team clinched the silver medal at the 1999 Asian Junior Championships, and the mixed team bronze medal at the 2000 World Junior Championships. Santoso won the women's doubles title at the 1999 Indonesian National Championships partnered with Vita Marissa. Santoso started her career as a badminton coach in Pola Bugar Club Jakarta from 2005–2006, and in 2006, she moved to Sunnyvale Community Center in Sunnyvale, California. Santoso then played for the United States, and won the U.S. National Championships title in 2008 and 2009.

Joo Hyun-hee is a South Korean badminton player. Joo has joined the Daekyo team when she was in the junior group age. She was part of the Korean girls' team that competed at the 1999 and 2000 Asian Junior Championships, winning the bronze and silver medal respectively. She also won the bronze medal in the girls' doubles event in both competitions. Joo later helped the national junior mixed team won the silver medal at the 2000 World Junior Championships in Guangzhou, China. In the senior international level, she was the runner-up at the 2005 and 2007 Canada International.

Endra Mulyana Mulyajaya is an Indonesian former badminton player, who now works as a badminton coach. Trained at the Tangkas club, he clinched the boys' doubles titles at the Dutch and German partnered with Hadi Saputra in 1996, and also settled a bronze medal at the World Junior Championships in Silkeborg, Denmark. In 1998, he won the mixed doubles title at the Jakarta International tournament partnered with Angeline de Pauw. Together with Saputra, he finished as a semi finalists at the World Grand Prix tournament 1999 Thailand Open. In 2000, Mulyajaya teammed-up with Nova Widianto, the duo competed in the Grand Prix event and became a quarter finalists at the Indonesia, Malaysia and Dutch Open.

Wang Wei was a former Chinese badminton player from Shanghai. In the junior event, he participated at the 1996 World Junior Championships clinched a gold medal in the mixed doubles event with Lu Ying.
