The National Front, officially Barisan Nasional (BN), is a political coalition of Malaysia that was founded in 1974 as a coalition of centre-right and right-wing political parties to succeed the Alliance Party. It is the third largest political coalition with 30 seats in the Dewan Rakyat after Pakatan Harapan (PH) with 82 seats and Perikatan Nasional (PN) with 74 seats.

The Mazingira Green Party of Kenya is a Kenyan green party. It was formerly known as Liberal Party of Kenya (LPK). At the 1997 Kenyan General Elections LPK fielded a presidential candidate, Wangari Maathai, who later became a Nobel Peace Prize laureate. Maathai was only a minor candidate. She did not win a parliamentary seat. In 2002, the next general elections were held and the Maathai-led party was part of the victorious NARC coalition. It was formed by National Rainbow Coalition members loyal to the government. The party, though months old, captured 3 parliamentary seats and 2 Civic seats in the by-elections of 24 July 2006 that was seen as a litmus test for the upcoming general elections for which the new party was planned to play a major role in securing reelection for president Mwai Kibaki.
Nyandarua County is a county in the former Central Province of Kenya, with its capital and largest town being Ol Kalou. Formerly, the capital was Nyahururu, which is now part of Laikipia County. Nyandarua County had a population of 596,268 in 2009 and 638,289 in 2019 and covers an area of 3,304 km2. The Party of National Unity (PNU) is a political party in Kenya originally founded as a political coalition. On 16 September 2007, Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki announced the party's formation and declared that he would run as its presidential candidate in the December 2007 Kenyan elections. Following the conditions set by the Political Parties Act which were passed in Kenya in 2008, PNU became an official political party. Recently PNU has launched activities to revamp itself ahead of the 2022 general elections.

Naomi Namsi Shaban is a Kenyan politician from the border town of Taveta. Later she joined the National Alliance Party (TNA) and was re-elected to represent Taveta Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya in 2013. In 2017 she was re-elected for a record fourth term in a controversial manner as her main opponent Morris Mutiso cried foul play and sought for the results to be annulled on grounds of irregularities and illegalities.
Kabando wa Kabando is a Kenyan politician and activist. He represented the Mukurweini Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya for two terms, having been elected for the first time in the 2007 Kenyan general election under the Safina Party, which he was member of until 2022. He is the founder Chairman of Nairobi Water Company, and a founder of Students' Opinion (STOP) lobby which led to the revival of Students' Organisation of Nairobi University (SONU), where he was elected President in 1992. He is a regular author and media commentator on public affairs, locally and globally. In 2014, he was voted the most progressive public interest legislator in Kenyan Parliament.
The National Alliance (TNA) was a political party in Kenya. It took on its current identity when Uhuru Kenyatta assumed control and renamed it as the vehicle for his 2012 presidential campaign.
Parliamentary elections were held in Iceland on 30 November 2024 to elect the 63 members of the Althing. The centre-left Social Democratic Alliance, led by Kristrún Frostadóttir, outperformed the ruling Independence Party to win the most seats, at 15. The election saw the worst performance by the Independence Party, Progressive Party, the Left-Green Movement, and the Pirate Party in each of the parties' histories, while Social Democratic Alliance, Viðreisn, the People's Party, and the Centre Party saw their best performance in each of the parties' histories. This follows a trend of Icelanders voting against every post 2008 recession government except for 2021.
James Mathenge Kanini is a Kenyan politician, popularly known as Kanini Kega. He was the former Member of Parliament for Kieni Constituency representing the Jubilee coalition.
