Robert Mbui, CBS is a Kenyan politician. He is currently a member of the National Assembly representing Kathiani Constituency and Deputy Leader of Minority in the National Assembly. He is the fifth member of parliament to represent the constituency since its inception in 1988. [1] He holds a Master's in Strategic Management from the Kenya Institute of Management.

Mbui was first elected to Parliament in 2013. Prior to this he had served as the CDF chairman for the larger Kathiani constituency before Mavoko constituency was carved out of it from 2008 to 2011. During his tenure as CDF chair, he initiated many projects to improve the education and health sector. Under his stewardship the constituency fund was voted the best used in the country.[ citation needed ] His track record and social skills propelled him to the National Assembly where he is currently serving his second term. During the 2017 elections he was one of the best performers countrywide, garnering 40,000 votes against his closest rival's 1,000 votes.

Mbui belongs to the Wiper Democratic Movement and is currently the party's national organizing secretary. On Jamhuri Day 2022 he was awarded the Chief of Burning Spear by President William Ruto.

Aside from politics Mbui has various investments, most notably in the education sector. He is the founder and owner of the Mutungoni Academy in Athi-River.

Personal life

Mbui is a grandson to the late Army chief, General Jackson Mulinge.

Mbui is married to Mrs. Janet Mbui, the Director of the Mutungoni Academy School in Athi River.

Hassan Ali Joho is a Kenyan politician and the former Governor of Mombasa County affiliated with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). On 4 March 2013, during the general election, Joho was elected as the first governor of Mombasa County. In the 2017 General Elections held on 8th August, Joho retained his seat on an ODM ticket. Despite significant politically engineered setbacks, Joho emerged triumphant by winning with 220 576 votes against his closest rival Suleiman Shahbal with 69 322 votes, Suleiman is a member of the Jubilee Party. Joho served as governor of Mombasa until 2022 when he completed his ten year term paving way for his successor Abdulswammad Sharrif Nassir the former member of the National Assembly for Mvita Constituency.

Zakayo Cheruiyot is a Kenyan politician who was born in 1954 at Kapsogut village in Bureti Constituency, Kericho County. His father, Arap Komuilong, was an Assistant Chief to Arap Tengecha, the Chief, during the colonial period. Cheruiyot attended Kapsogut Primary School prior to joining Litein High School and later Chesamis High School for his A-level education. The revered administrator holds a bachelor's degree in Literature and Governance from the University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Studies from Birmingham University in the UK. He is widely trained in public administration and has undergone major short courses on administration and management at the Kenya School of Government.

She previously served as a Member of Parliament for the Kathiani Constituency in the 10th Kenyan parliament and an assistant minister in the ministry of youth affairs and sport from 2008 to 2013. She was the first woman to be elected as a member of parliament in Machakos county since independence. She was a CCU candidate in 2013 and WDM-K candidate in 2017 for Machakos Governor.

Ndindi Nyoro, CBS, MP is a Kenyan politician, an economist and an entrepreneur, and currently the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kiharu Constituency serving a second term. Ndindi belongs to United Democratic Alliance (UDA), a political party under the Kenya Kwanza alliance led by the current and fifth president of Kenya, Dr William Ruto. He is a graduate of Kenyatta University with a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and was a student leader at the same university. John Kiarie Waweru is a Kenyan politician. He is a member of Parliament for Dagoretti South Constituency in Nairobi County under Jubilee Party. and former Redkyulass Comedian. He is popularly known as KJ from the popular show Redkyulass. He also ran a comedy cartoon strip from Sunday Nation Buzz Magazine.
