Ethnikos Piraeus B.C. is the basketball department of the Greek multi-sport club of Ethnikos Piraeus or Ethnikos OFPF (National Club of Fans of Piraeus and Phalerum ). It is based in Piraeus and its home is the Panagiotis Salpeas Gymnasium. In the current season, Ethnikos Piraeus plays in the third division of the Greek basketball league system. The team's colours are white and blue.
During the decade of the 1970s, Ethnikos played in the Beta Ethniki (second national league), and came close to reaching promotion to the top-tier level A Ethniki (first national league). The former president of FIBA Europe, George Vassilakopoulos, competed in Ethnikos Piraeus. In the subsequent following years, Ethnikos' standing as a club declined, and it played in the lower minor league Greek divisions.
In recent years, the club was promoted almost every year, as it climbed up to the Greek 2nd Division. Ethnikos was promoted 3 times, in 3 years (in 2012, 2013, and 2014). [1] In 2014, Ethnikos was promoted to the Greek A2 Basket League (second division), after beating Livadeia in a one off playoff game. [2]
Ethnikos has won the amateur level cup of the South Attica regional (ESKANA) 3 times.

Ethnikos Piraeus F.C. is a Greek football club based in Piraeus and its parent sports club is Ethnikos OFPF. The club was officially formed on 21 November 1923 as Keravnos, but existed since 1922. One year later the club was renamed to Young Boys Titan, after some players' secession that formed Peiraikos Podosfairikos Omilos. The club was renamed to Ethnikos on 23 December 1924, after it merged with Peiraikos Podosfairikos Omilos.

The full name of the club is Ethnikos Omilos Filathlon Pireos/Phalirou or Ethnikos OFPF, which means National Club of Fans of Piraeus and Phalerum. Irodotos Football Club, short for Podosferikós Athlitikós Sýllogos Alikarnassoú Iródotos and also simply known as Irodotos, is a Greek football club, based in Nea Alikarnassos, Heraklion. The club is named after the ancient historian Herodotus, descended from Halicarnassus, Asia Minor, whose bust is also used as the club logo. Irodotos was established in 1932 by refugees from Asia Minor, who were displaced following the Greco-Turkish War in 1922. By acclamation, Irodotos is considered the third most successful club in Heraklion in terms of achievements, due to its consistent presence in the Second and Third national divisions, but has maintained a considerable fan base, and a longstanding rivalry with local Superleague side OFI, despite the fact the two haven't met in national competitions for almost 30 years.
