Eton Park Capital Management was an investment firm. [1] The firm aimed to provide risk-adjusted returns for investors over multi-year periods. [2] The firm invested in a range of markets and products, including public equity, fixed income and derivatives markets. Eric Mindich was the firm's Chief Executive Officer. History

Eton Park was founded in 2004 by Eric Mindich, who previously had been a partner at Goldman Sachs. [4] While at Goldman, Mindich was a senior member of its Principal Strategies group. [5] Eton Park's launch was one of the largest in history at $3.5 billion. [3]

On March 23, 2017, Mindich announced the fund would shut down after incurring a 10% loss in 2016. [6]

Point72 Asset Management, L.P., is an American hedge fund. SAC Capital Advisors was founded in 1992 and converted its investment operations to the Point72 Asset Management family office in 2014. In 2018, the firm reopened to external investors after a two-year ban and began accepting outside capital. As of 2020, Point72 employs approximately 1,500 people. Point72 has its main office in Stamford, Connecticut.

Tiger Management Corp., also known as "The Tiger Fund," is an American hedge fund and family office founded by Julian Robertson. The fund began investing in 1980 and closed in March 2000/01. It continues to operate today in direct public equity investments and seeding new investment funds.
