[1] although E. longicorpus and E. maroccanus are still listed as separate species in some sources. [2]
Potter wasps, the Eumeninae, are a cosmopolitan wasp group presently treated as a subfamily of Vespidae, but sometimes recognized in the past as a separate family, Eumenidae.
Maximilian Fischer (1929-2019), was an Austrian entomologist and a specialist on parasitic wasps. He curated the Hymenoptera collections of the Natural History Museum Vienna from 1955 to 1994. He described more than 1000 new species of Braconidae flies in more than 300 publications.
Leptochilus is a large, mostly Holarctic genus of small sized potter wasps. The genus reaches its largest diversity in the Palearctic where there are more than 135 species belonging to 5 subgenera. However the division of The division of Leptochilus into subgenera can not be fully supported and the status of some of them is dubious.
Ancistrocerus is a widely distributed genus of potter wasps present in many biogeographical regions of the world. They are nonpetiolate eumenine wasps with a transverse ridge at the bending summit of the first metasomal tergum and with a low and opaque propodeal lamella completely fused to the submarginal carina.

Omicrabulus is an Afrotropical genus of potter wasps.
Giordania is a small Malagasy genus of potter wasps. The genus was created by Josef Gusenleitner in 1995.
Leptomenes is a mainly Afrotropical genus of potter wasps. It was previously a much larger genus, though many species have been transferred to other genera such as Eumenidiopsis, Stroudia, and Tachymenes.
Eustenancistrocerus is an Afrotropical, Palearctic and Oriental genus of potter wasps. The species in this genus include:
Micreumenes is an Afrotropical genus of potter wasps with 30 described species.

Gibberrhynchium is a small Afrotropical genus of potter wasps.
Raphiglossoides is a small genus of afrotropical potter wasps known from South Africa. Only two species are currently known.
Jucancistrocerus is a Palearctic genus of potter wasps. The currently species assigned to Jucancistrocerus are:

Habropoda is a genus of anthophorine bees in the family Apidae. There are at least 50 described species in Habropoda.
Leptochilus quintus is a species of potter wasp, described in 1991, based on a single (holotype) specimen identified from the Natural History Museum in Budapest. The specimen was collected in 1885 in Podvežica, a part of the nowadays Rijeka in Croatia. Since only one specimen was ever collected, the species was considered extinct.
