EuroLeague records

The EuroLeague is the highest level tier and most important professional club competition between basketball teams in Europe, with teams from up to 18 countries, from members of FIBA Europe, mostly consisting of teams from ULEB member national domestic leagues. The EuroLeague's records for individual players, coaches, and teams have been set over two different eras of the competition. The league's first era, when the competition was organized by FIBA, and the league's second era, organized by EuroLeague Basketball.

Contents

The FIBA era records of the competition were set from 1958 to 2001, including the lone season of the FIBA SuproLeague competition. While the EuroLeague Basketball era records of the competition have been set since 2000. There are also the overall historical records of the EuroLeague, which are the records for all formats and organizing bodies of the league's history, since 1958.

Player records

The following records include only games played when the EuroLeague competition was under the control of FIBA, from the 1958 FIBA European Champions Cup season to the 2000–01 FIBA SuproLeague season. These records do not include any games played in the EuroLeague from the 2000–01 EuroLeague season to the present, since the competition has been controlled by the EuroLeague Basketball Company.

Vassilis Spanoulis, also commonly known as Bill Spanoulis, or Billy Spanoulis is a Greek former professional basketball player and coach, who was most recently the head coach of the pro club Peristeri Athens of the Greek Basket League, as well as the head coach of the senior men's Greek national team. In the sport of basketball, Spanoulis is known worldwide for his signature move as a player, which is commonly known as "Spanoulis Action", or simply "Spanoulis". Use of the Spanoulis play has become popular in the NBA, and in other basketball leagues and competitions around the world. During his pro playing career, at a height of 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) tall, and a weight of 212 lb (96 kg), Spanoulis played as a point guard-shooting guard, and was nicknamed Kill Bill, V-Span, Greek Thunder, and MVP. Spanoulis was named the Balkan Athlete of the Year in 2009, the Eurobasket Player of the Year in 2012 and 2013, the International Sports Prize's World Athlete of the Year in 2013, and the EuroLeague MVP the same year. He earned a record eight All-EuroLeague Team selections and was voted the EuroLeague's 2010–2020 Player of the Decade. Spanoulis retired as the EuroLeague's all-time career leader in assists and total points scored.

Marcus James Brown is an American former professional basketball player. At 6'3" tall, he played as a shooting guard. A three time All-EuroLeague selection, Brown has been mentioned as being one of the top U.S. players ever to play abroad. Brown ended his career as a player-coach with Žalgiris Kaunas in 2011. Brown was the EuroLeague's career scoring leader since the year 2000, when he ended his career in October 2011. As far as United States players only are concerned, Brown remains one of league's higher scoring players in the competition since the year 2000, when the league's current organizer took over the competition.

Clarence "Sonny" Weems is an American professional basketball player for the Shenzhen Leopards of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He played college basketball for the University of Arkansas and the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. He was selected by the Chicago Bulls in the 2008 NBA draft and shortly thereafter traded to the Denver Nuggets. He has since played for the Toronto Raptors, Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA, and has had stints in Lithuania and Russia. At 6 ft 6 in (1.98 m), Weems plays both the shooting guard and small forward positions. He was an All-EuroLeague First Team selection in 2014.

Alexey Viktorovich Shved is a Russian professional basketball player for Shanxi Loongs of the Chinese Basketball Association. Standing at 1.98 m, he plays at both the shooting guard and point guard positions.

This page details the EuroLeague's individual season statistical basketball leaders since the 1991–92 season. Under previous EuroLeague competition formats, the "Regular Season" stats leaders were not counted as the official league stats leaders in the EuroLeague. Only the "Full Season" stats leaders were counted as the official league leaders of the EuroLeague. Therefore, playing solely in the "Regular Season" phase of previous EuroLeague season formats, did not qualify a player to be among the league's leaders. To qualify to be among the EuroLeague season stats leaders, a player must play in at least 51% of the possible games that can be played in a given season.

Vitaly Valeryevich Fridzon is a Russian professional basketball. He also represents the senior Russian national basketball team. Standing at 1.95 m, he mainly plays at the shooting guard position, but he can also play at the point guard position.

Nando Bruno Alfred Andre de Colo is a French professional basketball player and the team captain for LDLC ASVEL of the French LNB Pro A and the EuroLeague. Standing at a height of 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m), he plays at the point guard and shooting guard positions. A six-time All-EuroLeague selection, de Colo won the EuroLeague title in 2016 and 2019 with CSKA Moscow, earning both the EuroLeague MVP and Final Four MVP awards in the process.

Vasilije Micić is a Serbian professional basketball player for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He also represents the Serbian national team in international competition. He was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 52nd overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Will Clyburn</span> American basketball player

William Dalen Clyburn is an American professional basketball player for Virtus Bologna of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the EuroLeague. Clyburn attended three colleges, from 2008 to 2013: Marshalltown Community College, University of Utah, and Iowa State University before playing professionally in Germany, Israel, Turkey, and Russia. He was the top scorer in the Israel Basketball Premier League in 2015–16. Clyburn was named the EuroLeague Final Four MVP in 2019.

The 2016–17 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague was the 17th season of the modern era of Euroleague Basketball and the seventh under the title sponsorship of the Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this was the 60th season of the premier level competition for European men's professional basketball clubs.

The 2017–18 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague was the 18th season of the modern era of Euroleague Basketball and the eighth under the title sponsorship of the Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this was the 61st season of the premier competition for European men's professional basketball clubs.

RolandsŠmits is a Latvian professional basketball player for Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi and the EuroLeague. At a height of 2.08 m, and a weight of 107 kg, he primarily plays at the power forward position, but can also play as small ball center.
