The European Film Award - Prix Eurimages has been awarded annually since 2007 by the European Film Academy. The winners are:
The Istanbul Film Festival is the first and oldest international film festival in Turkey, organised by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts. It is held every year in April in movie theaters in Istanbul, Turkey. As mentioned in its regulations, the festival aims to encourage the development of cinema in Turkey and to promote films of quality in the Turkish cinema market.
Eurimages is a cultural support fund of the Council of Europe, established in 1989. Eurimages promotes independent filmmaking by providing financial support to feature-length fiction, animation, and documentary films. In doing so, it encourages co-operation between professionals across Europe. Eurimages is headquartered in Strasbourg, France in the Agora building of the Council of Europe. The current Chairperson is Catherine Trautmann.
László Nemes is a Hungarian film director and screenwriter. His 2015 debut feature film, Son of Saul, was screened in the main competition at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Grand Prix. He is the first Hungarian director whose film has won a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film. Son of Saul is the second Hungarian film to win the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. In 2016, Nemes was a member of the main competition jury of the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.
LUX – the European Audience Film Award by the European Parliament and the European Film Academy, also known as LUX European Audience Film Award and commonly known as the LUX Prize or LUX Film Prize, is a prize given to a competing film by the European Parliament and the European Film Academy, in partnership with the European Commission and Europa Cinemas. Introduced in 2007, the prize is named after the Latin word for "light", lux. Between its first edition in 2007 and 2019, its official name was the European Parliament LUX Award.
The Council of Europe Film Award (FACE) is presented at the Istanbul International Film Festival by the Council of Europe to the director whose entry to the festival raises public awareness and interest in human rights issues and promotes a better understanding of their significance.
Il divo is a 2008 Italian biographical drama film directed by Paolo Sorrentino. It is based on the figure of former Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti. It competed at the Cannes Film Festival in 2008, where it was awarded the Jury Prize. The film also screened at the Toronto International Film Festival and was nominated for the Oscar for Best Makeup at the 82nd Academy Awards in 2010.
Honey is a 2010 Turkish drama film directed by Semih Kaplanoğlu, the third and final installment of the "Yusuf Trilogy", which includes Egg and Milk. It premiered on 16 February 2010 in competition at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival, where it became the third Turkish film, after Susuz Yaz in 1964 and Head-On in 2004, to win the Golden Bear award. The film, which went on general release across Turkey on 9 April 2010, was selected as Turkey's official candidate for the Best Foreign Film Oscar at the 83rd Academy Awards but it did not make the final shortlist.

The company was founded in 2008 by film producers Hanneke Niens and Hans de Wolf, who as of 2022 is associated with the company as an advisor. The past few years the production company has built up an extensive international network of co-producers and funders. This resulted in collaborations with ITVS, Eurimages, the British Film Institute, Chios Investments, Al Jazeera and Netflix.
The Diary of Diana B. is a 2019 biographical film directed by Dana Budisavljević. The film tells the story of the aid operation of humanitarian Diana Budisavljević for the rescue of more than 10,000 - mainly Orthodox Christian Serbs - children from concentration camps in the Independent State of Croatia during WWII. The film had its world premiere at the 2019 Pula Film Festival. It won four Golden Arenas, including the Big Golden Arena for Best Film.

The 34th European Film Awards were presented in Berlin, Germany on 11 December 2021. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the awards went ahead without an in person audience, taking the form of a hybrid event, including pre-produced and live online.
