Everisto Mulenga (born 26 March 1999) is a Zambian amateur boxer. He won a bronze medal at the 2019 African Games and later qualified for the 2020 Summer Olympics by winning the African Qualification Tournament, both at featherweight.
Mulenga won a silver medal at the 2016 African Region V Youth U20 Games in Luanda, losing to Ricardo Malajika of South Africa in the finals. [2] He reached the quarterfinals of the bantamweight event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, where he won his first bout before suffering a loss to Mohammad Hussamuddin. [3] Mulenga won a featherweight bronze medal at the 2019 African Games in Rabat. [4] He won three straight fights before losing to the eventual gold medalist Mohamed Hamout in the semifinals. [5]
Mulenga qualified for the 2020 Summer Olympics with a first-place finish at the African Qualification Tournament, where he defeated veteran Nick Okoth in the final via unanimous decision. [6] [7] At the Tokyo Olympics, he received a first-round bye in the featherweight bracket. [8] Mulenga began his first bout against Ceiber Ávila by opening a cut above his opponent's eye in the first round, but he ultimately lost the fight by split decision. [9] [10]
Hocine Soltani was an Algerian boxer, who won two Olympic medals. In 1992, the southpaw placed third in the featherweight division (54–57 kg), and at the 1996 Summer Olympics he won the gold medal in the lightweight division.
Felix Bwalya was a Zambian boxer who won a gold medal at the 1991 All-Africa Games and competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. As a professional, he became African champion and went 12–1 on his way to winning the Commonwealth belt. Nicknamed "The Hammer", he captured the African Boxing Union light welterweight and Commonwealth super lightweight titles in 1995 and 1997 respectively, the latter after a controversial victory over Briton Paul Burke in Lusaka. Bwalya subsequently died from head injuries sustained in the fight.
William Alexander Smith was a South African bantamweight professional boxer who competed in the 1920s. He was reigning world champion between 1924 and 1928 after winning the gold medal in the 1924 Summer Olympics in the bantamweight category. His family was from Aberdeen, Scotland and Bedfordshire, England.
Nicholas Okongo Okoth is a Kenyan amateur boxer. He fought at the 2008 Olympics as a featherweight after winning the 2nd AIBA African 2008 Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

Skye Brittany Nicolson is an Australian professional boxer. She is the reigning WBC featherweight world champion. As an amateur, she competed in the featherweight event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, winning the gold medal. Nicolson competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics. In her first bout in the women's Feather (54–57 kg) preliminaries she beat Im Ae-ji from Republic of Korea on points. She was beaten in the quarterfinals by Kariss Artingstall from Great Britain.
