Tilka Paljk (born 18 February 1997) is a Zambian swimmer. She competed in the women's 100 metre breaststroke event at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships. [1] [2] She also competed in three events at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. [3] Paljk was born in Postojna, Slovenia. [4] Paljk was named the Zambia Sportswoman of the Year in 2018 and 2019, [5] [6] and was named in Forbes Africa 30 under 30 in 2021. [7]

The World Aquatics Junior Swimming Championships is an international swimming championship event organized biennially by World Aquatics for girls and boys who are aged 14–18 on the 31st December of the year of the competition. It is usually held on odd years. Xander Skinner is a Namibian swimmer. He competed in the men's 100 metre freestyle event at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships. He is a graduate of SPIRE Institute and Academy, an Olympic training center in Geneva, Ohio.

Benedetta Pilato is an Italian swimmer. She is the world record holder in the long course 50 metre breaststroke. She is the European champion in the 50 metre breaststroke in 2021 and the 100 metre breaststroke in 2022 as well as the silver medalist in the 50 metre breaststroke in 2022. In 2021, she won a silver medal in the 50 metre breaststroke at the 2021 World Short Course Championships. She is the world champion in the 100 metre breaststroke and the silver medal in the 50 metre breaststroke at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships.

Lana Pudar is a Bosnian competitive swimmer specializing in the butterfly events. She won a gold medal in the women's 200 m butterfly and a bronze medal in the women's 100 m butterfly at the 2022 European Aquatics Championships, a bronze medal in the women's 200 m butterfly at the 2021 FINA World Swimming Championships, and she competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She is the national record holder in all six butterfly events, and a Mediterranean games record holder in the 100 m women's butterfly event.

Lara van Niekerk is a South African competitive swimmer. She is the current African, Commonwealth, and South African record holder in the long course 50-metre breaststroke and the African and South African record holder in the short course 50-metre breaststroke. She won gold medals in the 50-metre breaststroke at the 2018 African Swimming Championships and the 2022 Commonwealth Games as well as a silver medal at the 2022 World Short Course Championships and the bronze medal at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships in the same event. In the 100-metre breaststroke, she won gold medals at the 2018 African Swimming Championships and the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
