The LGM-30 Minuteman is a U.S. land-based intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), in service with the Air Force Global Strike Command. As of 2018, the LGM-30G Minuteman III version is the only land-based ICBM in service in the United States.
Fairfield County is an affluent county in the southwestern corner of the U.S. state of Connecticut. As of the 2010 census, the county's population was 916,829, estimated to have increased by 3.6% to 949,921 in 2017. The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps is a volunteer group headed by Chris Simcox and dedicated to preventing illegal crossings of the United States border. Arguing that the government is insufficiently concerned with securing the U.S. border, they have organized several state chapters, with the intention of providing law enforcement agencies with evidence of immigration law violations. Simcox states that the group merely reports incidents to law enforcement, and does not directly confront immigrants. There is a standard operating procedure (SOP) that must be followed by Minutemen volunteers. Rules include not speaking to, approaching, gesturing towards or having physical contact in any way with any suspected border crossers they may see. The organization has been criticized as being a right-wing militia. The MCDC is often confused with or thought to be affiliated with The Minuteman Project Inc., but the two groups are wholly distinct. The group was originally co-founded by American neo-Nazi, J. T. Ready.
Minuteman Career and Technical High School is a Public Vocational High School located in Lexington, Massachusetts. The school serves the towns of Acton, Arlington, Belmont, Bolton, Concord, Dover, Lancaster, Lexington, Needham, and Stow. Minuteman is a member of the Commonwealth Athletic Conference for sports, which competes at the Division 5 level of athletics in Massachusetts. The school's mascot is the Mustangs, and the school's colors are navy blue, gold, and white. Minuteman was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School by the Department of Education.

The station is usually ranked number one in the Stamford-Norwalk, Bridgeport and Fairfield County ratings, and is in the top 4 of the New Haven market rating. One of the main elements behind the station's success is its traffic coverage reports that cover the entire route from interior Connecticut to lower Fairfield County. WEBE is one of the most powerful radio stations in Southern Connecticut with an effective radiated power of 50,000 watts, reaching most of Westchester County, New York into the Bronx, parts of Manhattan, most of Long Island, as well as southern parts of the Hartford area. Its studios, along with the studios of sister station WICC, are located in Bridgeport. The transmitting antenna is on the United Illuminating plant smokestack near Bridgeport Harbor.
The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts is the major center of theatre and the arts at Fairfield University located in Fairfield, Connecticut. The Center includes events such as popular and classical music, dance, theatre, and programs for young audiences. Westport Magazine recognized the Quick Center as the "cultural epicenter of Fairfield County."
Connecticut's 4th Congressional District is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Connecticut. Located in the southwestern part of the state, the district is largely suburban and extends from Bridgeport, the largest city in the state, to Greenwich. The district also extends inland, toward Danbury and toward the Lower Naugatuck Valley.
The Fairfield Metro station is a 1,100,000-square-foot (100,000 m2) commercial development and commuter rail stop situated on 35 acres (140,000 m2) in the town of Fairfield, Connecticut. The in-fill station, located 1.8 miles (2.9 km) east of Fairfield station along Metro-North's New Haven Line, opened on December 5, 2011.
Route 59 is a north–south state highway in Connecticut, running from Bridgeport to Monroe. Between Bridgeport and Easton, Route 59 used to be the Stratfield and Weston Turnpike, which operated from 1797 to 1886. Modern Route 59 was designated along the turnpike route in 1932 with a northward extension to the Upper Stepney section of Monroe.

Route 136 is a state highway in southwestern Connecticut, running from Darien to Easton. The route was initially established in 1932 to serve the beach communities between Darien and Southport. Its eastern end was relocated in 1963 to head northeast from Westport to Easton instead.
The ZBGM-75 Advanced Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, also known as Weapons System 120A (WS-120A), was a program to develop an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), proposed by the United States Air Force in the 1960s as a replacement for the LGM-30 Minuteman as the Air Force's standard ICBM. Funding was not allocated for the program and the project was cancelled in 1967.
