Fudbalski klub Voždovac, commonly known as Voždovac, is a professional football club located in Voždovac, a municipality of Belgrade, in Serbia.
The 2009 Summer Universiade, officially known as the XXV Summer Universiade, was celebrated in Belgrade, Serbia from July 1 to 12, 2009. The event has also been organised by a range of co-host cities mostly in Vojvodina, close to Belgrade. It was the largest sporting event ever to be organised by the city. At this Universiade the biggest star was the Russian rhythmic gymnast Evgeniya Kanaeva, who won 5 gold medals. Russia was the leading nation in the medal table, with the most gold medals (27) and most medals (76).
Obilić Stadium is a football stadium in Belgrade, Serbia, located in Vračar municipality. The stadium has a seating capacity for 4,508 people. The venue was the home ground of FK Obilić until 2015 and was used during the 2011 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.
FK Železnik is a football club based in Železnik, Belgrade, Serbia. They competed in the First League of Serbia and Montenegro from 1996 to 2005. The club made its solo European appearance in the 2004–05 UEFA Cup and went on to win the Serbia and Montenegro Cup in the same season.
The 2005–06 Serbia and Montenegro Superliga was the fourth and last season of the Serbia and Montenegro's top-level football league before the dissolution. It was contested by 16 teams, and Red Star Belgrade won the championship.

Serbia hosted the tournament between the 3 and 15 May. 6 Teams also qualified for the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup. Players born after 1 January 1994 were eligible to participate in this competition.

A total of 52 participating teams were divided into 13 groups of 4 teams, with one of the teams hosting all six group matches in a single round-robin format. The 13 group winners, 13 group runners-up and the best third-placed team secured qualification for the elite round. Hungary qualified as hosts, while Spain received a bye to the elite round as the side with the highest competition coefficient. The draw for the qualifying round was held on 5 December 2012 in Nyon. Matches were played from 6 September to 19 November 2013.

The 2005–06 Serbia and Montenegro Cup was the fourth and last season of the Serbia and Montenegro's annual football cup before the dissolution. The cup defenders should be Železnik, but the club was merged with Voždovac. Red Star Belgrade has last winner of the competition, after they defeated OFK Beograd. She later clinched the Meridian SuperLiga title to claim its 9th domestic double.
