Football at the 2019 Pan American Games – Men's team squads

The men's football tournament at the 2019 Pan American Games will be held in Lima from 29 July to 10 August 2019. The eight teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 18 players, including two goalkeepers.

Contents

Teams participating in the men's competition were restricted to under-22 players (born on or after 1 January 1997) with a maximum of three overage players allowed.

Overage players indicated in bold. Caps and goals as of the start of the tournament (29 July 2019) and includes only senior team statistics

The 2019 South American U-17 Championship is an international association football tournament held in Peru from 21 March to 14 April 2019. The ten national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 23 players; only players in these squads are eligible to take part in the tournament.

The following is a list of all the squads of the national teams that participated in the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Each team had to name a preliminary squad of between 22 and 50 players. From the preliminary squad, the team had to name a final squad of 21 players by the FIFA deadline. Players in the final squad could be replaced by a player from the preliminary squad due to serious injury or illness up to 24 hours prior to kickoff of the team's first match. The sixteen national teams involved in the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup were required to register a squad of 23 players; only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament. The 2020 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship was an international football tournament that was held in Mexico from 18 to 30 March 2021. The eight national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of twenty players, three of whom had to be goalkeepers.

The men's football tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics was the international football tournament in Japan from 22 July to 7 August 2021. The sixteen participating national teams were required to submit squads of 18 players – of which two have to be goalkeepers – by 30 June 2021, 23 days prior to the opening match of the tournament. Additionally, teams could name a maximum of four alternate players, numbered from 19 to 22. The alternate list could contain at most three outfielders, as at least one slot was reserved for a goalkeeper. In the event that a player on the submitted squad list suffered an injury or illness, that player would have been able to be replaced by one of the players in the alternate list. Only players in these squads were planned to be eligible to take part in the tournament. On 2 July, FIFA confirmed that there was a change for the 2020 Olympics, allowing all 22 players named to be available on the roster, with 18 being named for each match. This change was implemented due to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The official squad lists were released by FIFA on 7 July 2021.

The men's football tournament at the 2023 Pan American Games will be held in Santiago from 22 October to 4 November 2023. The eight teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 18 players, including two goalkeepers.

The women's football tournament at the 2023 Pan American Games will be held in Santiago from 22 October to 3 November 2023. The eight teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 18 players, including two goalkeepers.

The 2024 CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament will be an international football tournament to be held in Venezuela from 20 January to 11 February 2024. The ten national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of a minimum of 19 and a maximum of 23 players, including at least three goalkeepers. Only players in these squads are eligible to take part in the tournament. The tournament exclusively requires players to be born on or after 1 January 2001 to be eligible, that is, they must be a maximun of 23 years old by the end of the calendar year in which the competition is played.
