History

There isn't much history of Forest Grove other than it being a rural church community. It had a population of 40 in 1966 and 60 from 1990 through 2000. [2]

Geography

Forest Grove is located on U.S. Highway 77, 7 mi (11 km) south of Rockdale in southern Milam County. [2]

Education

Today, the community is served by the Rockdale Independent School District.
