Betty Blowtorch is an all-female American hard rock band from Southern California.
Chase the Dragon is the third studio album by English rock band Magnum. It was released in 1982 on Jet Records. Overseen by the Kansas producer Jeff Glixman, Chase the Dragon was the first recorded appearance by the new keyboard player Mark Stanway, although he had made his live debut at Magnum's appearance at the Reading Festival in 1980. The album was recorded over 13 days at Town House Studios in London, and the following year Tony Clarkin flew to Axis Studios in Atlanta to mix it. However, there was a two-year delay before the album's release in 1982. Many of the tracks have remained in Magnum's live set for many years, including "Soldier of the Line", "The Spirit" and "Sacred Hour".

Girlpool was an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed by friends Avery Tucker and Harmony Tividad. Their debut self-titled EP Girlpool was released on Bandcamp in 2014 and re-released on Wichita Recordings later that year. Despite maintaining their declaration of disbandment in 2020, Black Dresses released three additional albums, Forever in Your Heart (2021), Forget Your Own Face (2022), and Laughingfish (2024). Upon releasing Laughingfish, the band announced that it would be their final album.

It was released on April 13, 2020, the two-year anniversary of their first studio album Wasteisolation, under Blacksquares Records. It was preceded by the lead single of the album "Creep U" which was released on April 7. The album was the duo's last album before their announced disbandment in May 2020 due to harassment of the band following their unexpected success on platforms such as TikTok. Despite this, they released a follow-up record, Forever in Your Heart, the following year.

BBNGLive 1 and BBNGLive 2 are a pair of albums released by BadBadNotGood in 2011 and 2012, respectively. The albums were released at regular intervals between the band's debut and second studio albums. Both albums were self-released as free downloads and helped build buzz for the band during their inaugural year. The band's next live record would be their Spotify Live EP, released by Innovative Leisure in 2017.
Frailty is the debut studio album by the American musician Jane Remover, released through DeadAir Records on November 12, 2021, under her former stage name, Dltzk. The album was supported by the release of three singles: "How to Lie", "Pretender", and "Search Party". A hyperpop, EDM, and emo record, Frailty was recorded within six to seven months in Remover's childhood bedroom using FL Studio and an acoustic guitar. Many of the experiences brought up in the album reference Remover's issues with her mental and physical health. The album was positively received by critics.
Forget Your Own Face is the sixth studio album by Canadian noise pop duo Black Dresses. It was released on February 14, 2022, exactly one year after the release of their previous album Forever in Your Heart, and is the second album released by the duo since their announced disbandment in May 2020. With the release of Forever in Your Heart, the duo clarified that they had nonetheless not reunited as a band, and The Fader described Forget Your Own Face as a continuation of their "not-reunion". Released under Blacksquares Records, the album was preceded by the Patreon-only release of the song "u_u2" on February 1.

Crest is a collaborative studio album by Swedish musicians Bladee and Ecco2K, released on 17 March 2022 through Year0001. It was recorded in Sweden with producer Whitearmor, close to the recording location of the film The Seventh Seal (1957). Crest is a progressive pop album featuring Auto-Tune vocals with lyrics addressing themes of love and friendship, and multiple references to Christianity and heaven. The track "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" was released as a single in 2020. Crest was considered one of the best albums of the year by The Fader and Anthony Fantano and one of the best progressive pop albums of the year by Pitchfork.
E is the debut studio album by Swedish-British singer Ecco2K. A surprise album, it was released on 27 November 2019 through Year0001. Previously known for his work on other people's projects, Ecco2K began working on the album after leaving his day job at Eytys. It was recorded across multiple cities and executive-produced by Gud and Whitearmor. Musically, multiple reviewers noted the album's contrast with Ecco2K's previous works, in addition to its futuristic sound and personal lyrical themes. Reviewers described E as bringing Ecco2K into the spotlight, and The Fader said it was a "standout release" for 2019.
Come In is the debut album by Weatherday, a solo project of the Swedish musician Sputnik, released on 29 April 2019. The album was entirely written, performed, and recorded by Sputnik, who used minimal equipment and varied recording locations. It has been described as emo, lo-fi, noise pop, and indie rock. Following its release, Come In gained a cult following online on sites such as Rate Your Music and Bandcamp. Critics praised the album's wide breadth of sound and emotional lyrics and performance.
