Frank Chesterton was a male badminton player from England.

Chesterton won the All England Open Badminton Championships, considered[ by whom? ] the unofficial World Badminton Championships, in men's singles in 1909, 1910 and 1912. He was a member of the Ealing Badminton Club. [1]

He missed many years of potential success due to World War I but did reappear at the 1920 All England Badminton Championships where he reached the men's doubles semi final with Sir George Thomas losing to eventual winners Archibald Engelbach and Raoul du Roveray 15–6, 17–15. [2] This tournament appears to be the last he played in with no records showing further involvement in the sport.

They also won gold medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2019 European Games.

Marcus Ellis is a British badminton player. He was the men's doubles champion in the English National Championships. Ellis and Chris Langridge won a bronze medal in the men's doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, also gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. At the 2019 Minsk European Games, Ellis captured two gold medals; in the men's doubles with Langridge and in the mixed doubles event with Lauren Smith.

Soh Wooi Yik is a Malaysian badminton player. He was part of the Malaysian 2015 and 2016 BWF World Junior Championships team, and has helped Malaysia clinch a silver medal in mixed team after being defeated by China in 2016. Soh and his partner Aaron Chia were the All England Open finalists and the Southeast Asian Games gold medalists in 2019. The duo won the bronze medal in the men's doubles at the 2020 Summer Olympics, and won the men's doubles title at the 2022 World Championships.
