Kim Moon-soo (born 29 December 1963) is a former badminton player from South Korea who excelled from the early 1980s through the early-1990s
He has won 2 titles in the World Badminton Championships in men's doubles. He also won a gold medal at the Summer Olympics and 3 All England Open Badminton Championships in men's doubles. All of these were gained with fellow countryman Park Joo-bong,his regular partner during most his badminton career. In 1988,Kim married fellow 1985 World Champion Yoo Sang Hee after Yoo retired from international badminton. Kim himself retired in 1993,after contributing to Korea's Sudirman Cup victory. [1] Kim competed for Korea in badminton at the 1992 Summer Olympics in men's doubles with partner Park Joo-bong. They won the gold medal defeating Eddy Hartono and Rudy Gunawan from Indonesia 15–11,15–7. Kim was inducted into the Badminton Hall of Fame in 2002

Jens Dyrløv Eriksen is a badminton player from Denmark. He competed in four consecutive Olympic Games from 1996 to 2008,and won a mixed doubles bronze medal in 2004 partnered with Mette Schjoldager. At the World Championships,Eriksen won two silvers in 1995 and 1997,and also two bronze medals in 2001 and 2006.

Kim Dong-moon is a retired South Korean badminton player who won major titles between the mid-1990s and the mid-2000s (decade),and widely regarded as one of finest men's doubles and mixed doubles players in badminton history. Kim captured the world attention when he unexpectedly winning the gold medal in the mixed doubles event with Gil Young-ah at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics. On his path to greatness,he won gold medals both in men's and mixed doubles at the 1999 World Championships. Kim and Ra Kyung-min,partnered up to become one of the strongest mixed doubles pairings of that time. They did not drop a single match from April to November in 2003. They won 10 straight victorious tournaments:9 consecutive Grand Prix events and one World Championship title. Their excellent results in 2003 earned Kim and Ra the Eddie Choong Player of the Year award. He captured this award previously by himself in 2002. Despite their domination,the golden couple crashed in the second round against the Danish partnership of Jonas Rasmussen and Rikke Olsen at the 2004 Athens Olympics. Kim however redeemed himself with a gold medal in men's doubles with Ha Tae-kwon. After the 2004 Olympics,Kim retired from playing and married his former mixed doubles partner,Ra in 2005. Kim is currently the only South Korean player to have ever won Olympic gold in both the men's and mixed doubles events. He was inducted into the BWF Hall of Fame in 2009.
Ha Tae-kwon is a badminton player from South Korea. Born in Jeonju,North Jeolla Province,Ha started his career in badminton with the recommendation of Kim Dong-moon in elementary school. He made his international debut in 1992,and won his first Grand Prix title at the 1995 Canada Open. Ha three times competed in Olympic Games in 1996,2000 and 2004,won a bronze medal in 2000 and a gold medal in 2004.

The South Korea men's national volleyball team represents South Korea in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches,governed by Korea Volleyball Association. The Republic of Korea (ROK) has competed in the Olympic Games eight times,but has not featured since the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney,Australia. He has shared the men's double title in four U.S. National Badminton Championships with three different partners. In 1985,Partnering with Bruce Pontow from Chicago Illinois,coming out of retirement after 2 years,Pontow and Fogarty established the greatest “Underdog”defeat in Men's Doubles history defeating Korean All-England Champions Kim Moon-soo and Lee Deuk-choon in Thomas Cup held in Vancouver,Canada after the Men's Team with Legendary coach and player Park Joo-bong challenged into and winning the Pan American Zone. The victory by far the best an Unranked pair competed against the best in the world during the era from 1985 until 1991 Korea Dominated World Badminton by winning many of the All-England doubles events with 16 wins to Korea,4 to China,and 1 win to Nora Perry from England and Billy Gilliland from Scotland. In 2008,he won the bronze medal at the Pan Am Badminton Championships in the mixed team event. He also won the men's doubles bronze medal in 2009 and 2014. In 2015,at age 58,Fogarty became the oldest shuttler competing at the BWF World Championships at the Istora Senayan Indoor Stadium,Jakarta. He has been qualified for the BWF World Championships seven times. He practiced six days a week after work to maintain his fitness. Fogarty works as a Physician by practice in the US Navy.
