Nicholas Ponting (born 13 June 1966) is a former professional badminton player from England.
He was ranked No. 1 in the world at mixed doubles during 1993 and represented Great Britain at the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games in Barcelona and Atlanta. [1]
He won the mixed doubles event at the 1994 All England Open Badminton Championships with Joanne Wright.
He won the bronze medal at the 1993 IBF World Championships in mixed doubles with Gillian Clark.
He represented England and won a gold medal in the mixed team event and a bronze medal in the mixed doubles with Joanne Wright, at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. [2] [3] [4]
Ponting still plays competitive badminton and currently represents England on the International Masters circuit winning multiple National and All England Masters titles in singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles.

Donna Victoria Kellogg, is an English former badminton player. She is the European Champion, winning the women's doubles titles in 2000, 2006 and the mixed doubles title in 2008. She won the silver medal at the 2006 World Championships. Goode also won seven gold medals at the Commonwealth Games, a gold at the European Championships, and a silver at the World Championships.
Gillian Margaret Clark is an English badminton commentator and former badminton player who specialized in doubles.
Julie Jane Bradbury is a former English badminton player who represented Great Britain at the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games. She was part of the national mixed team that won the gold medal at the 1994 Commonwealth Games, also captured the silver medals in the mixed and women's doubles events. Along with those sporting achievements she is only the second person to hold all five titles in all three disciplines of badminton at the English National Championships. She reached a career high as world No. 1 in the mixed doubles and No. 4 in the women's doubles.

Marcus Ellis is a British badminton player. He was the men's doubles champion in the English National Championships. Ellis and Chris Langridge won a bronze medal in the men's doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, also gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.
