The champions and runners-up of the All England Open Badminton Championships Mixed Doubles tournament, first introduced to the championship in 1899. From 1915 to 1919, and from 1940 to 1946, no competition was held due to the two World Wars.
In the Amateur era, George Alan Thomas (1903, 1906-1907, 1911, 1914, 1920-1922), Betty Uber (1930-1936, 1938) and Finn Kobberø (1955, 1957, 1960-1963, 1965-1966) jointly holds the record for the most titles in the Mixed Doubles, winning All England eight times. Betty Uber holds the record for most consecutive titles with seven from 1930 to 1936.
Since the Open era of badminton began in late 1979 [1] [2] with the inclusion of professional badminton players from around the world in 1980, Chung Myung-hee and Park Joo-bong (1989-1991), Gao Ling (2006-2008), Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir (2012-2014), share the record for most consecutive victories with three.
Gillian Perrin, Nora Gardner, Mike Tredgett, Steen Skovgaard, Christian Hadinata and Imelda Wiguna are the only players in history to reach the All England Open Badminton Mixed Doubles Final in both the Amateur and Open era. Gilks managed to do so a total of nine times, winning four, Gardner ten, Tredgett six, both winning twice, Skovgaard twice but never won and Hadinata, partnering Wiguna, thrice but winless in the Open era.

Christian Hadinata is a former Chinese Indonesian badminton player.
The All England Open Badminton Championships is the world's oldest badminton tournament, held annually in England. With the introduction of the BWF's latest grading system, it was given Super Series status in 2007, upgraded to Super Series Premier status in 2011, and designated a Super 1000 event at the birth of the World Tour in 2018. The Super 1000 events, held in four historic strongholds of the sport of badminton are the highest level events below the World Championships and Olympic Games tournaments, and broadly equivalent in stature, though apart from the All-England not in historicity, to the Grand Slam tournaments in tennis.
Gillian Gilks is an English former badminton player who won numerous major titles in all three events between the late 1960s and the mid-1980s.
Svend Pri was a Danish badminton player who won numerous major titles from the mid-1960s through the mid-1970s.
Derek Talbot is a former English badminton player. One of Britain's most successful "all-rounders," he won eleven English National Championships four singles, three doubles, and four mixed doubles. He also won four Commonwealth Games gold medals and in partnership with the formidable Gillian Gilks he won three mixed doubles crowns at the prestigious All-England Open.

Though she won three Danish national singles titles and reached the women's singles final at the All-England Championships in 1965, most of her major championship victories were in doubles and mixed doubles. Attractive and charismatic, she was a crowd favorite throughout her career.
Jane Webster, now known as Jane Sutton, is a retired English badminton player noted for her strong and consistent shot-making. Though competitive at a world-class level in singles, her greatest success came in doubles competition.
Margaret Beck was a badminton player from England who ranked among the world's best during most of the 1970s.
The BWF World Championships, formerly known as IBF World Championships, and also known as the World Badminton Championships, is a badminton tournament sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). The tournament is one of the most prestigious in badminton, offering the most ranking points, together with the Summer Olympics badminton tournaments which was introduced in 1992. The winners of this tournament are also crowned as "World Champions" of the sport, and are awarded a gold medal.
