Michael 'Mike' Graham Tredgett (born 5 April 1949) is a former English badminton player who specialized in doubles and played at the world level for more than a decade, winning numerous international men's doubles and mixed doubles titles.

Badminton career

Tredgett won five medals in the World Championships between 1977 and 1983. He is also one of the most successful players ever in the European Badminton Championships with 5 titles, three of them in men's doubles and two in mixed doubles. He shared three All-England mixed doubles titles (1978, 1980, 1981) with Nora Perry and reached the All-England men's doubles final twice with Ray Stevens (1972, 1980) and twice with Martin Dew (1983, 1984). He won men's doubles with Stevens at the 1978 Commonwealth Games.

In 1978 he married fellow badminton player Kathryn Whiting (a former English Junior champion). [2]

Donna Victoria Kellogg, is an English former badminton player. She is the European Champion, winning the women's doubles titles in 2000, 2006 and the mixed doubles title in 2008. Nora Perry MBE is an English former badminton player noted for her anticipation, racket control, and tactical astuteness. A doubles specialist, Perry won numerous major titles, with a variety of partners, from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s. These included six All-England mixed doubles and two All-England women's doubles championships. She won both the 1980 IBF World Championships and the 1980 European Championships in women's doubles with Jane Webster. Three years later, she won the 1983 IBF World Championships title in mixed doubles with Thomas Kihlström. Generally regarded as one of the greatest female mixed doubles players in the game's history, in 1999 she was inducted into the World Badminton Hall of Fame.
