Alyxia is an Australasian genus of flowering plant in the dogbane family, Apocynaceae. It contains at present 106 species, but Alyxia stellata and A. tisserantii are very variable, might be cryptic species complexes, and are need of further study. It consists of shrubby, climbing or scrambling plants. This genus occurs in China, the Himalayas, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Caledonia and the Pacific Islands. There are 14 species in Australia, 21 in New Caledonia and 7 in the other Pacific Islands, including Hawaiʻi.
Cynanchum is a genus of about 300 species including some swallowworts, belonging to the family Apocynaceae. The taxon name comes from Greek kynos and anchein, hence the common name for several species is dog-strangling vine. Most species are non-succulent climbers or twiners. There is some evidence of toxicity.
Cephalotaxus mannii is a species of plant in the family Taxaceae. It is a tree up to about 20 metres (66 ft) tall, native to southern China, northeast India, Laos, northern Thailand, northern Myanmar and northern Vietnam. While the species is widespread, its populations are fragmented and it is threatened by cutting for timber as well as for using its bark and leaves for medicinal extracts.
Keteleeria evelyniana is a species of conifer native to southern China, Laos and Vietnam. It can grow to a height of 40 metres (130 ft).
Odorrana hainanensis is a species of frogs in the family Ranidae that might be endemic to Hainan Island, China; there is one record from Guangxi. Prior to its description in 2001, it was confused with Odorrana andersonii.
Aristolochia hainanensis is a species of plant in the family Aristolochiaceae. It is endemic to China.
Begonia hainanensis is a species of plant in the family Begoniaceae. It is endemic to China. It grows in forests and on mossy rocks.
Vincetoxicum tsaii is a species of plant in the family Apocynaceae first described in 1941. It is endemic to Yunnan Province in China.
Goniostemma punctatum is a species of plant in the family Apocynaceae. It is endemic to China. It grows in montane forests.
Helicia is a genus of 110 species of trees and shrubs, constituting part of the plant family Proteaceae. They grow naturally in rainforests throughout tropical South and Southeast Asia, including India, Sri Lanka, Indochina, Peninsular Malaysia to New Guinea and as far south as New South Wales.
Melodinus axillaris is a species of plant in the family Apocynaceae. It is endemic to Yunnan Province in southern China.
Parepigynum is a genus of liana in the family Apocynaceae, first described as a genus in 1973. It contains only one known species, Parepigynum funingense, native to Guizhou and Yunnan Provinces in China.
Pentastelma is a genus of liana in family Apocynaceae, first published as a genus in 1974. It contains only one known species, Pentastelma auritum, endemic to the Island of Hainan in China.
Vincetoxicum is a genus of plants in the family Apocynaceae. Although the species in Vincetoxicum have sometimes been included in Cynanchum, chemical and molecular evidence shows that Vincetoxicum is more closely related to Tylophora. The generic name means "poison-beater" in Botanical Latin because of the plants' supposed antidotal effects against snakebite.
Cunninghamia konishii is an endangered species of tree in the cypress family, Cupressaceae. It is native to southeast China (Fujian), Taiwan, Laos and Vietnam.

Friesodielsia is a genus of flowering plants in the custard apple and soursop family Annonaceae, with all species found in the Old World, mostly in the tropics. A molecular study shows that Friesodielsia should be more narrowly circumscribed, with the only species remaining being the Asian ones, which can also be distinguished by their possession of globose or ellipsoid monocarps, and six petals per flower arranged in two whorls.
