Fuling North railway station is a railway station located in Fuling District, Chongqing, People's Republic of China, on the Yuli Railway which operated by China Railway Corporation. It opened in 2013.
The railway station will be served by the Chongqing–Wanzhou high-speed railway which is expected to open in 2025. [1]

Chongqing, alternately romanized as Chungking, is one of the four direct-administered municipalities of the People's Republic of China (PRC). Geographically, Chongqing is strategically positioned as a gateway to China's west, a key connection in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and a strategic base for China's Belt and Road Initiative.

The Chongqing Rail Transit is the rapid transit system in the city of Chongqing, China. In operation since 2005, it serves the transportation needs of the city's main business and entertainment downtown areas and inner suburbs. As of January 2023, CRT consisted of ten lines, with a total track length of 485.02 km (301 mi). Lines 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, the Loop line and Jiangtiao line are conventional heavy-rail metro lines, Lines 2 and 3 are high-capacity monorails. To keep up with urban growth, construction is under way on Line 18 and several other lines, in addition to extensions to Lines 5, 6 and 10.
Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, also known as Jiangbei Airport, is the primary airport serving Chongqing, a municipality in Southwestern China. Located about 19 kilometres (12 mi) north of the urban centre of Chongqing, it was the second-busiest airport in Mainland China by passenger traffic in 2022. Jiangbei Airport was awarded the best airport in its size category by Airports Council International in 2017 and again in 2018. The airport's IATA airport code, CKG, is derived from the former romanized spelling of the city, Chungking.

The Wu River is the largest southern tributary of the Yangtze River. Nearly its entire length of 1,150 kilometres (710 mi) runs within the isolated, mountainous and ethnically diverse province of Guizhou. The river takes drainage from a 80,300-square-kilometre (31,000 sq mi) watershed.
The Shapingba railway station is a railway station of Chengyu Passenger Railway that is located in Shapingba District of Chongqing, People's Republic of China. It was originally opened in 1979 serving ground-level tracks and has been operated as part of China Railway's Chengdu Bureau. In 1988, it was renamed as Chongqing North Railway Station, but reverted to the Shapingba name when another new station in Yubei District was opened as Chongqing North railway station. Serving only conventional services, the station was closed in 2011 for a major renovation and as part of an expansion of the Three Gorges Plaza commercial development. It was redeveloped as a fully Integrated Transport Hub, serving high-speed and conventional rail, metro rail services, local city buses, taxi services and personal cars, all within a major commercial and retail complex. The railway station section of this project was reopened on 25 January 2018 and the final retail and commercial development was completed on 30 December 2020. It should not be confused with the larger Chongqing West railway station, which is also located in Shapingba District, and opened on the same day.
The Chongqing–Lichuan railway, or the Yuli railway is a railway connecting central Chongqing with the Hubei city of Lichuan. The 244 km (152 mi) long railway, connecting Chongqing North railway station with the Lichuan Station on the Yichang–Wanzhou railway, is a section of the Shanghai–Wuhan–Chengdu passenger railway, which extends to Wuhan, Nanjing, and Shanghai.
The Chengdu–Chongqing intercity railway is a 307-kilometre (191 mi) long high-speed railway that connects the cities of Chengdu (Sichuan) and Chongqing in southwestern China, with a maximum speed of 350 km/h (220 mph). The route passes through most of the same cities that the older Chengdu–Chongqing Railway does, but is significantly shorter due to the greater use of elevated sections and tunnels. The line includes four major elevated sections and two tunnels.
Qianjiang District, formerly Qianjiang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, is a district, in the southeastern part of Chongqing, China, bordering Hubei province to the east and northeast. While it is governed as a district, in practice Qianjiang is its own city proper far removed from the urban centre of Chongqing. Qianjiang is nicknamed "The Throat of Sichuan and Hubei" (川鄂咽喉) because it sits on the intersection of Sichuan-Hubei and Sichuan-Hunan Roads.
Nanchuan–Fuling railway or Nanfu railway, is a railroad in southwest China between Nanchuan and Fuling Districts of Chongqing Municipality. The line is 79 km (49 mi) long and forms a section of Chongqing's outer ring railway. The Nanfu railway was built from 2008 to 2012.
Chongqing–Huaihua railway or Yuhuai railway, is a single-track, electrified railroad in southwest China between Chongqing Municipality and Huaihua in Hunan Province. The line is 624.5 km (388 mi) long and was built between 2000 and 2005. Cities and towns along route include Changshou, Fuling, Wulong, Pengshui, Qianjiang, Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, Xiushan, Songtao in Chongqing Municipality, Tongren in Guizhou Province and Huaihua in Hunan Province.
Lanzhou–Chongqing railway or Lanyu railway is a higher-speed railway in China connecting Lanzhou and Chongqing. Construction started in 2010, last segment of the railway was opened for service in September 2017. The line allows trains to travel between Chongqing and Lanzhou, Gansu via Nanchong and Guangyuan, Sichuan.
The Port of Chongqing is the port of the Chongqing municipality, laid out along the shores of the Yangtze, Jialing and Wujiang rivers. It is the deepest inland class I port in China.
The Baiheliang Underwater Museum or White Crane Ridge Underwater Museum is an underwater museum built around the White Crane Ridge of Fuling District, Chongqing. It is China's first underwater museum.
Chongqing–Wanzhou high-speed railway is the second route between Chongqing and Wanzhou after Chongqing–Wanzhou intercity railway. The Chongqing–Wanzhou high-speed railway, on a faster 350 kilometres per hour (220 mph) alignment, is expected to open in 2025. It will take a different route, heading south to serve Zhongxian and Fengdu with new railway stations and interchanging with the existing Fuling North railway station and terminating at Chongqing East.
The Bishan rubber-tyred tram, or Bishan SkyShuttle, is an elevated rubber-tyred metro line in Bishan District, Chongqing, China. The 15.4 kilometres (9.6 mi) long line has 15 stations. It runs from north to south, starting at Bishan station on Line 1 of Chongqing Rail Transit, and finishing at Bishan railway station, on the Chengdu–Chongqing intercity railway.
