Wuhan Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Wuhan, Hubei, China. Owned and operated by Wuhan Metro Group Co., Ltd., the network now includes 11 lines, 282 stations, and 435 km (270 mi) of route length. With 1.22 billion annual passengers in 2019, Wuhan Metro is the sixth-busiest rapid transit system in mainland China. There are a number of lines or sections under construction. The government of Wuhan City promised the citizens that at least two lines or sections open every year.
Wuhan railway station is one of the three main passenger railway stations of Wuhan, the capital of China's Hubei Province. It is located northeast of Wuhan's East Lake, near a small lake called Yangchunhu, and is adjacent to the 3rd Ring Road. Administratively, the site is within the Wuhan's Hongshan District.

Wuhan–Yichang railway, or Hanyi railway, is a 291-kilometre (181 mi) long higher-speed railway between Hankou and Yichang, in Hubei province, China. The railway forms a section of the Huhanrong passenger-dedicated line from Shanghai to Wuhan to Chengdu. The Hanyi Railway was completed in spring 2012 and started commercial operations on July 1, 2012. Adjacent high-speed rail sections, the Hefei–Wuhan railway to the east and the Yichang−Wanzhou railway to the west, opened respectively in April 2009 and December 2010.
The Beijing–Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong high-speed railway or Jingguangshengang high-speed railway from its Chinese name is a high-speed railway corridor of the CRH passenger service, connecting Beijingxi station in Beijing and West Kowloon station in Hong Kong in less than nine hours of travel time. It is 2,230 kilometres (1,390 mi) long, and is the only Chinese high-speed railway to cross a border that requires immigration and customs clearance. The existing, conventional Jingguang railway runs largely parallel to the line.
Wuchang railway station is a major railway station on the Beijing–Guangzhou railway, the Wuhan–Jiujiang railway and the Hankou–Danjiangkou railway, located on the east side of Zhongshan Road in Wuchang District, Wuhan, Hubei, China.
The Hankou–Danjiangkou railway or Handan railway, is a railroad in central China between Wuhan and Danjiangkou in Hubei Province. The line is 411 km (255 mi) long and follows the Han River from Wuhan's Hankou District north to Danjiangkou near the border with Henan Province. The line was built from 1958 to 1966 and double-tracked in 2009. Major cities and towns along route include Wuhan, Anlu, Suizhou, Zaoyang, Xiangyang, Laohekou and Danjiangkou.
The Line 2 of Wuhan Metro is the first underground metro line crossing the Yangtze River. This line has started trial run on September 25, 2012, and has opened on December 28, 2012. It is Wuhan's second metro line after Line 1, and the city's first underground line, since Line 1 is mostly elevated. Line 2 runs in a northwest–southeast direction, connecting Hankou and Wuchang, including Hankou Railway Station and major commercial districts.

Xunlimen Station is an interchange station between Line 1 and Line 2 of the Wuhan Metro. It entered revenue service along with the completion of Line 1 on July 28, 2004. The Line 2 platforms opened on December 28, 2012. It is located between Jianghan District and Jiangan District.
Dazhimen or Ta-chih-men railway station in Wuhan, China, was the southern terminus of the Beijing–Hankou railway. It is located at the intersection of Jinghan Road and Chezhan Road in Jiang'an District, part of the former city of Hankou. It was built in 1900–1903 and closed in 1991, when the new Hankou railway station opened. In 2001 it was named a Major National Historical and Cultural Site.
Huangjinkou Station, is a station of Line 4 of Wuhan Metro. It entered revenue service on December 28, 2014. It is located in Hanyang District.
Hanyang railway station, located at Cuiwei Street in Hanyang District, Wuhan, Hubei, China, is a station of Jingguang Railway and Handan Railway. It will be the terminus of Inter-city rail, towards Qianjiang, Tianmen. Hangyang railway station is served by a station of the same name on Line 4 of the Wuhan Metro.
The Line 3 of Wuhan Metro is a metro line in Wuhan. This line crosses five districts of Wuhan: Jiang'an District, Jianghan District, Qiaokou District, Hanyang District and Caidian District, and is the first line to cross the Han River. It started operation on December 28, 2015.
Wuhandong railway station is a railway station located in Jiangxia District, Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. The new railway station opened on August 12, 2022. It is served by Line 2 and Line 11 of the Wuhan Metro.
Jiang'an railway station was a former freight-handling station in Jiang'an District, Wuhan, Hubei, China. It was once the largest freight-handling station in Wuhan.
