The Hankou–Danjiangkou railway or Handan railway,is a railroad in central China between Wuhan and Danjiangkou in Hubei Province. The line is 411 km (255 mi) long and follows the Han River from Wuhan's Hankou District north to Danjiangkou near the border with Henan Province. Jiamin line is a commuter rail line currently under construction on the Shanghai Suburban Railway,and will be run by Shentong Metro Group. It runs from Yindu Road in Minhang District to Chengbei Road in Jiading District. Construction started on 28 June 2021. The line is expected to open in 2027.

The China Railway Corporation was created to operate the railway network,while the National Railway Administration was created to regulate and oversee the corporation,with safety and accident prevention being a major part of its function.
