Jingzhou railway station is a railway station located in Jingzhou District, Jingzhou, Hubei Province, People's Republic of China, on the Hanyi Railway which operated by China Railway Wuhan Group. It is located in Yingcheng Town of Jingzhou District, some 3 km north of Jingzhou's central business district.
Frequent D-series trains on the Yichang–Wuhan route; some trains continue east to Shanghai. [1]
There is no freight service at the Jingzhou railway station, and none is planned. Instead, rail freight destined for Jingzhou is handled at the local stations of the Jingmen–Shashi railway. [2]
The station was opened on July 1, 2012, together with the new Wuhan–Yichang Railway. Although the station was physically close to Jingzhou's central urban area, passengers found it inconvenient due to the absence of a direct road connection. However, the new road is under construction, and is to open by the end of November 2012. [3]
Jingzhou also has several freight stations on the Jingmen–Shashi railway.

Jingzhou is a prefecture-level city in southern Hubei province, China, located on the banks of the Yangtze River. Its total residential population was 5,231,180 based on the 2020 census, 1,068,291 of whom resided in the built-up area comprising two urban districts.
Jingmen is a prefecture-level city in central Hubei province, People's Republic of China. Jingmen is within an area where cotton and oil crops are planted. The population of the prefecture is 2,873,687. The urban area of Jingmen City has a population of about 400,000. Jingmen is so named as in ancient times it was the gateway to Jingzhou, one of the Nine Provinces and means literally Gateway to Jingzhou.

Wuhan–Yichang railway, or Hanyi railway, is a 291-kilometre (181 mi) long higher-speed railway between Hankou and Yichang, in Hubei province, China. The railway forms a section of the Huhanrong passenger-dedicated line from Shanghai to Wuhan to Chengdu. The Hanyi Railway was completed in spring 2012 and started commercial operations on July 1, 2012. Adjacent high-speed rail sections, the Hefei–Wuhan railway to the east and the Yichang−Wanzhou railway to the west, opened respectively in April 2009 and December 2010.
Jingmen–Shashi railway or Jingsha railway, is a single-track regional railroad in Hubei Province of central China between Jingmen and Shashi District of Jingzhou. The line is 74.1 km (46 mi) long, and was built between 1986 and 1989. It opened in May 1989. The line runs from Shashi on the Yangtze River north to Jingmen and is used to carry freight, including coal and iron ore. The line's five stations are Jingmen South, Tuanlin, Shayang, Jingzhou North and Shashi.

The line has also been used for the export of crops. The line branches from the Baotou–Lanzhou railway north of Baiyin West railway station. It continues east towards its terminus at Honghui railway station in Pingchuan District. Passenger services operate between Baiyin West and Changzheng railway station.
