Xiantao West railway station is a railway station located in Xiantao City, Hubei Province, People's Republic of China, on the Hanyi Railway which operated by Wuhan Railway Bureau, China Railway Corporation.

The station is located near Leichang Village (雷场村) of Sanfutan Town (三伏潭镇), at a fairly large distance from Xiantao's city center: around 30 km straight-line distance, or some 40 km by highway. [1]

During construction, it was anticipated that once train service began, the station would serve around 1500 people per day. [1]

History

The station was opened on July 1, 2012, along with the new Wuhan–Yichang railway.

Shenzhenbei Railway Station is one of the four large intercity railway stations of Shenzhen, located in Longhua District. It has 11 platforms and 20 lines. It is an interchange station between the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link, the Hangzhou–Fuzhou–Shenzhen High-Speed Railway, future Shenzhen–Zhanjiang high-speed railway and the Shenzhen Metro Lines 4, 5 and 6. Construction commenced in October 2008, with a total investment of 116.76 billion yuan. The design speed is 350 km/h (220 mph). Wuhan–Yichang railway, or Hanyi railway, is a 291-kilometre (181 mi) long higher-speed railway between Hankou and Yichang, in Hubei province, China. The railway forms a section of the Huhanrong passenger-dedicated line from Shanghai to Wuhan to Chengdu. The Hanyi Railway was completed in spring 2012 and started commercial operations on July 1, 2012. Adjacent high-speed rail sections, the Hefei–Wuhan railway to the east and the Yichang−Wanzhou railway to the west, opened respectively in April 2009 and December 2010.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Yichang–Wanzhou railway</span> Railway line in China

The Yichang–Wanzhou railway, or the Yiwan railway connects the cities of Yichang and Wanzhou via Lichuan, Hubei. It was completed in 2010 and forms part of the Shanghai–Wuhan–Chengdu passenger railway. Out of the line's total 377 km (234 mi) length, 288 km (179 mi) runs on bridges or in tunnels. According to the chief engineer, Zhang Mei, the line was the most difficult ever constructed in China. Operation started on 22 December 2010.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Beijing–Guangzhou high-speed railway</span> High-speed railway line in China

The Beijing–Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong high-speed railway or Jingguangshengang high-speed railway from its Chinese name is a high-speed railway corridor of the CRH passenger service, connecting Beijingxi station in Beijing and Futian station in Shenzhen, Guangdong in less than nine hours of travel time. It is 2,230 kilometres (1,390 mi) long, and is the only Chinese high-speed railway to cross a border that requires immigration and customs clearance. The existing, conventional Jingguang railway runs largely parallel to the line.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Shanghai–Nanjing intercity railway</span> Railway line in China

The Shanghai–Nanjing intercity railway or Huning intercity railway is a 301-kilometer (187 mi)-long high-speed rail line between Shanghai and Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu province. and Níng are shorthand Chinese names for Shanghai and Nanjing, respectively. The Huning intercity high-speed railway largely follows the route of the preexisting Nanjing-Shanghai section of the conventional Beijing–Shanghai railway and the Beijing–Shanghai high-speed railway. Construction of this high-speed railway began in July 2008. The line went into test operations in early April 2010, and opened for full service on July 1, 2010. The line has a design speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). The journey time between the two cities has been shortened from 120 minutes to 73 minutes on nonstop trains. According to the arrangements of related departments, 120 pairs of trains are operating on the line, and the time interval between services is 5 minutes at the shortest.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Futian station</span> Railway and metro interchange station in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China

Futian station is a station on the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link, and the final station in mainland China before trains enter Hong Kong. Futian District is in southern Shenzhen, where the central business district is located. The station opened on 28 June 2011 serving the Shenzhen Metro, and since 30 December 2015 it has been the first underground high speed railway station on a long-distance line in China. It serves as an interchange station between the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link and Line 2, Line 3 and Line 11 of the Shenzhen Metro.

Tianmen South railway station is a railway station located in Tianmen City, Hubei Province, People's Republic of China, on the Hankou-Yichang Railway.

The Yichang–Xingshan high-speed railway, also referred to in Chinese under the acronym Yichang-Zhengwan high-speed railway connection line, is a high-speed railway under construction between Yichang on the Wuhan–Yichang railway and Xingshan on the Zhengzhou–Wanzhou high-speed railway in Hubei province, China. It will form part of the Shanghai–Chongqing–Chengdu high-speed railway. The total length of the line is 109.38 km (67.97 mi), and there are 3 stations on the whole line. It is a line connecting the Wuhan–Yichang railway and the Zhengzhou–Wanzhou high-speed railway. The line will run from Yichang East station via the Changgangling area and Xiabaoping station to Xingshan station. In addition, this line is also planned to be connected with Yichang North railway station and the Wuhan–Yichang high speed railway, also currently under construction. The estimated total investment of the project is 18.15 billion yuan, the construction period is 5.5 years, the design speed is 350 km/h (220 mph), and 94.37% of the main line will run on bridge or through tunnel. It is expected to be officially completed and opened to traffic in 2024. After the completion of the line, combined with the Zhengzhou-Wanzhou HSR to form a new east–west high-speed railway route in the Sichuan-Chongqing area, the Wuhan–Chongqing route will be shortened from the current fastest service of 5 hours and 54 minutes to about 3 hours, and Wuhan–Chengdu services will take only 5 hours. At the same time, journeys between Yichang and Beijing will be shortened from the current 8 hours to about 4.5 hours.
