Badong County is a county located in western Hubei province, People's Republic of China, bordering Chongqing municipality to the west. It is the northernmost county-level division under the administration of Enshi Prefecture. The Yangtze River flows through the county and the county seat is located just east of the Wu Gorge in the Three Gorges region.
Shishou is a county-level city under the administration of the prefectural-level city Jingzhou, in the south of Hubei province, near its border with Hunan province, and is located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. The Swan Islet Wetland of the Yangtze River in this area is the world's largest national natural reserve both for wild elks(Milu, or David Deer) and for Chinese river dolphins. The Shishou City National Baiji Reserve for Chinese river dolphins is nearby. It shares its name with a stream flowing into the Yangtze River. In addition, the area enjoys convenient transportation, with an hour's drive from Yueyang East Railway Station on the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway line, and 70 kilometers (43 mi) from Jingzhou Railway Station on the Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu high-speed railway line. Moreover, Shishou boasts a diversified landscape, including mountains, hills, lakes, rivers, terraces and plains, as well as abundant resources such as rice, cotton, oil plants, eggs, fish, and lotus roots.

Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture is located in the mountainous southwestern corner of Hubei province, People's Republic of China. It forms Hubei's southwestern "panhandle", bordering on Hunan in the south and Chongqing Municipality in the west and northwest. Fengdu County is a county located in Chongqing Municipality, People's Republic of China. The county was established as Fengdu County (豐都縣) during the Sui Dynasty. The name was changed to Fengdu County (酆都縣) during the Ming Dynasty. In 1958, the name was changed back to Fengdu County.

Ganzhu is an industry-based town lying on the Fu River in northern Guangchang County, Fuzhou, Jiangxi, China. During the Song dynasty, it was called Lumaozhou (蘆毛洲). Ganzhu is adjacent in the east to Qianshan Township, in the south to Xujiang, a recreation farm to its west and Nanfeng County to the north, which it borders. Ganzhuwei (甘竹圩), its town government, resides 13 kilometres away from the county seat. Also nicknamed the "first town of Xuyuan" (盱源首镇), Ganzhu has at least 20 attractions, one of which is the world's largest lotus field. The town consists of 4,761 households and as of 2020 governs one residential community and the following 12 villages:
