Previously,he was the Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces from February 1998 to October 1999 during Indonesia's transition from authoritarian rule to democracy,he ran unsuccessfully for President of Indonesia in 2004 and for the vice-presidency in 2009. On 27 July 2016,Wiranto was appointed Coordinating Minister for Political,Legal,and Security Affairs,replacing Luhut Binsar Panjaitan.

It is described as a right-wing,populist,traditionalist conservatist,elitist,extra-parliamentary,non-partisan pressure group,due to being founded by right-wing politicians and former generals formerly supporting Prabowo Subianto during 2019 presidential election,although most of the figures are politically independent from Indonesian political parties at that time. It was also supported by members of the Islamic Defenders Front.
Mohamad Tony Harjono is an Indonesian air force officer who became the 24th air force chief of staff,serving since 5 April 2024. He graduated from the air force academy in 1992 and commanded several airbases and regional commands before being entrusted to lead the air force. He was a confidant of President Joko Widodo,having served as his aide-de-camp from 2014 until 2016 and military secretary from 2020 until 2022. Military observers identified him as part of the Solo Gang,a group of military and police officers whose career rose swiftly after serving in Surakarta,the hometown of Joko Widodo.

Widi Prasetijono is an Indonesian military officer who has served as the commander of the army doctrine,education,and training leadership command since 24 December 2023. Prior to his appointment,Widi served as the commander of the Diponegoro Regional Military Command from 2022 to 2023. Widi entered the army in 1993 and had held command of Kopassus and territorial units. He was noted for his closeness with President Joko Widodo due to his position as Surakarta military commander during the mayoralty of Joko Widodo and as Joko Widodo's aide-de-camp.
