Geofrey Kayemba Ssolo is a Ugandan talent music manager, football agent, businessman and politician. [1] [2] [3] He serves as a Member of Parliament representing Bukomansimbi South Constituency in Bukomansimbi. [4] [5] He was elected on 14 January 2021. [6] [7] He is a member of National Unity Platform political party. [8] [9] He serves as the Shadow Minister of Sports in the Shadow Cabinet. [10] [11]
Kayemba was born on 1 August 1983 in Bukomansimbi district to Francis Jjuuko Kamulegeya (father) and Resty Nabumpenje (mother). He attended St. Charles Lwanga Primary School Kyabakuza, Masaka Secondary School for S.1 & S.2, St. Damian Kilyamenvu Bukomansimbi, he sat his o level exams from Benard College Kisweera Masaka & Happy Hours Secondary School Kampala for A levels (2009). He holds an Advanced Certificate in Education and a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations Management from Ndejje University. [5]
In his vacation, he taught at Kamaanda Primary School Bukomansimbi and while in A level Kayemba was a part time cleaner at Mulago Hospital working under Norema Services Cleaning Company. [5] In 2005, he worked as a marketer at DCL studio. He is the CEO of Just Fine Agency - a company that manages musicians. He also serves as a football agent at Africa Sports Agency, a Football Agency Company. [12] [13] He started artiste managing in 2006 managing Lady Mariam Tindatine, Qute Kaye, Dr. Hilderman, Wilson Bugembe, David Lutalo, Christopher Evans, Rema Namakula among others. [14] In 2016, Kayemba was certified as a football agent by FUFA. [15] He has represented Godfrey Walusimbi, Emmanuel Okwi, Khalid Aucho, Chrizestorm Ntambi, Herman Wasswa among others. [3] [1] [16]
In January 2021, Kayemba was elected as a Member of Parliament representing Bukomansimbi South Constituency in the eleventh Parliament of Uganda (2021 to 2026) [4] in the 2021 Ugandan general elections and on 21 May 2021 he sworn in as the Member of Parliament. He won with 9200 votes. [17] [18] [5] On 25 June 2021, he was appointed as the Shadow Minister of Sports in the Parliament of Uganda. [19] [10] [12] [7] [20]

Hamz Stadium, formerly referred to as Nakivubo Stadium at Nakivubo War Memorial Grounds, is a multi-purpose stadium in Kampala, Uganda. Following extensive renovations led by businessman Hamis Kiggundu in partnership with the Ugandan government, the stadium has been upgraded to international standards. It is slated to host significant events like AFCON2027 and CHAN 2024. which will mark a new chapter in Uganda's sporting and community landscape. It was previously used mostly for football matches and served as the home venue of SC Villa. In the 2024/2025 season, two Uganda premier league clubs URA FC and Express FC used Hamz stadium as their home ground.The stadium had a capacity of about 21,000 people, but upon partial completion of the renovations started in 2017, President Museveni commissioned the stadium on 25 April 2024. It will have a total seating capacity of 35,000 people upon final completion.

Denis Hamson Obua, is a Ugandan politician, who serves as the Government Chief Whip in the Parliament of Uganda, a position he was appointed to on 21st July 2022. The office was officially handed over to him on 16th August 2022. He previously served as Minister of State for Sports, in the Cabinet of Uganda, effective 14 December 2019. He also concurrently serves as the incumbent Member of Parliament representing Ajuri County, Alebtong District in the 11th Parliament, a seat he also held in the 10th Parliament.
Achiro Lucy Otim, commonly referred to as Lucy Achiro Otim is a female Ugandan politician and a Gender Specialist. She is the district woman representative for Aruu North County consistency, Pader district in the 10th Parliament. Achiro belongs to an independent political party at the Parliament of Uganda. She won the parliamentary seat running as an independent candidate in 2016. Her tenure as member of parliament was cut short when the Ugandan supreme court nullified her election for non-compliance with electoral laws because the electoral commission failed to carry out a vote recount after she had won with a two vote margin, beating James Nabinson Kidega of the National Resistance Movement (NRM). However, she returned as member of parliament after being re-elected Aruu north member of parliament in the April 2017 election by again beating Kidega, this time 64 percent to 32 percent.
