Erwin Vandenbergh is a Belgian retired professional footballer who played as a forward. Between 1979 and 1991, he finished six times topscorer of the Belgian First Division, with three clubs. In 1980, he was European topscorer with 39 goals out of 34 games. As a Belgium national team regular, Vandenbergh scored a memorable victory goal against Argentina in the opening game of the 1982 World Cup in Spain.

In 1964, during a match Belgium-Netherlands, Trappeniers replaced Delhasse on the pitch to join 10 fellows from Anderlecht playing under the national team kit. Later in his career, he also played for Union Saint-Gilloise, Royal Antwerp F.C. and Eendracht Aalst.

He was transferred from Anderlecht to Racing White in the summer of 1970. Martens competed on the television show Superstars in 1976. He owned a sports shop whilst at R.W.D.
