Luka Elsner (born 2 August 1982) is a Slovenian professional football manager and former player. He is the manager of French Ligue 1 team Reims. [2]
Growing up in France, Elsner began his career at Nice, where he was part of the youth set-up and the reserve team. He later played for US Cagnes. In 2004, Elsner joined Domžale. He holds the club record for competitive appearances. [3] [4] Elsner also later played for Austria Kärnten and Al-Muharraq, before finishing his career at Domžale in 2012. [5]
Elsner made his debut for Slovenia on 26 May 2008 in a friendly match against Sweden, replacing Bojan Jokić late in the second half. [6] [7]
Elsner was born into a footballing family. His grandfather, Branko, and his father, Marko, were both footballers. His younger brother, Rok, is also a professional footballer. [8] [9]

Koninklijke Voetbalclub Kortrijk is a Belgian professional football club based in Kortrijk, West Flanders. The 2017–18 season was the 58th season in the history of Nogometni klub Maribor. It began on 1 June 2017 and concluded on 31 May 2018, with competitive matches played between July and May. It was the first season since 2007–08 in which Maribor did not win a single trophy during the season as the team lost the league title to Olimpija Ljubljana due to worse head-to-head record after finishing with the same number of points (80) in 36 rounds. Olimpija also eliminated Maribor in the quarter-finals of the Slovenian Cup. However, Maribor fared better in European competitions as the team reached the group stages of the UEFA Champions League for the third time in club's history.
