Gerad Michael Parker (born January 4, 1981) is an American college football coach and former player. He is the head football coach for Troy University, a position he has held since 2024. He was previously the offensive coordinator and tight ends coach at the University of Notre Dame and the offensive coordinator at West Virginia University. Parker played as a wide receiver at the University of Kentucky from 2000 to 2004 for head coaches Hal Mumme, Guy Morriss, and Rich Brooks. He served as the interim head coach at Purdue University for six games in 2016.
Gerad, a native of Louisa, Kentucky, was born the son of Rick and Laura Parker. [2] Parker graduated from Lawrence County High School, where he was a member of the basketball team, track and field team and the football team as a record-setting wide receiver. [3] As a freshman and sophomore, Parker teamed up with Jason Michael to form one of the best passing attacks in the state of Kentucky. [2] A 2000 graduate, Parker was Kentucky's all-time leader with 4,814 career receiving yards in high school. [4] His 65 receptions, 1,504 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns as a senior made him a finalist for the 1999 Kentucky Mr. Football Award, losing out to eventual teammate Travis Atwell. [2] Parker ran the 400-meter dash, 400-meter relay and 1,600-meter relay for the track and field team. [2]
In January 2000, Parker accepted a scholarship to the University of Kentucky to continue his football career. [5] [6] He chose Kentucky over offers from Marshall and Western Kentucky. [2] During Parker’s career at Kentucky, he went through three head coaches, two broken collar bones and a leg injury. [7]

Parker coached wide receivers and defensive backs at Raceland-Worthington High School from 2005–2006. [9] In 2007 Parker took a graduate assistant job at Kentucky, [10] where he worked with wide receivers and the offensive scout team. The following year Parker was hired by UT Martin, where he was the running backs coach and recruiting coordinator. In 2011, Parker became the wide receivers coach at Marshall. [11]
On February 11, 2013, Parker was hired by Darrell Hazell as the tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator at Purdue University. [9] In 2015, Parker took over as the wide receivers coach and maintained his role as the recruiting coordinator. [12]
Parker mentored standout receiver DeAngelo Yancey during his time at Purdue. Yancey earned second team All-Big Ten honors after recording a career-high 49 receptions for 951 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2016, [13] and wrapped up his four-year collegiate career ranking among the top receivers in Purdue history, finishing with 141 career receptions for 2,344 yards and 20 TDs. After a loss to Iowa on October 16, 2016, Purdue fired head coach Darrell Hazell and named Parker the interim head coach for the final six weeks of the season. [15]
On January 17, 2017, Parker was named the running backs coach at the University of Cincinnati. [16] Parker resigned from Cincinnati the week of February 13, 2017, to become the wide receivers coach at East Carolina University. [17] [18] On February 22, 2017, Parker was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. Because of the arrest, the East Carolina rescinded their offer. [19]
On June 1, 2017, Parker was hired by David Cutcliffe and the Duke Blue Devils as a football operations assistant. [20] In 2018, Parker transitioned into an assistant coaching role to mentor Duke’s wide receivers. [21] During his one season coaching the Duke wide receivers, the unit combined for 2,252 yards, accounting for 70.4 percent of the Blue Devils’ passing production. [22]
On January 10, 2019, Parker was named the wide receivers coach for the Penn State Nittany Lions, replacing David Corley. [22]
Before the 2020 season, Parker was hired as the offensive coordinator at West Virginia. [23]
After being demoted following West Virginia's hiring of Graham Harrell as offensive coordinator, [24] Parker joined the Notre Dame staff as tight ends coach for the 2022 season. [25] He was named offensive coordinator for the 2023 season. [26]
On December 18, 2023, Parker was named the head coach at Troy. [27]

Taylor Evans Stubblefield is an American football coach and former player who is the wide receivers coach for the Air Force Falcons. He played professionally as a wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers and St. Louis Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He left Purdue University owning the most receptions in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) history. Stubblefield was most recently the wide receivers coach with the Toronto Argonauts. A three-sport athlete at A.C. Davis High School, Stubblefield committed to the Purdue University to play football for the Boilermakers. In his collegiate debut in 2001, he had five receptions for 65 yards. He led the team in receptions and was named to the All-Freshman Big Ten team by Sporting News. During his sophomore season, he finished with 77 receptions for 789 yards, but didn't record a touchdown catch. As a junior in 2003, Stubblefield earned second-team All-Big Ten honors at the conclusion of the season. In the 2001 Sun Bowl, he had nine catches for a Sun Bowl-record 196 yards. During the 2004 season, Stubblefield was a Biletnikoff Award finalist, earned first-team All-Big Ten honors and was named a consensus All-American.He concluded his college career with an NCAA record of 325 receptions, which he held for seven years, 3,629 yards, and 27 touchdowns. He was inducted into the Purdue Athletic Hall of Fame in 2015 and was also named to the 75th Anniversary Sun Bowl Team.

Jeffrey Scott Brohm is an American college football coach and former professional quarterback. He is the head football coach at his alma mater, the University of Louisville, a position he has held since the 2023 season. Brohm played college football for the Louisville Cardinals under coach Howard Schnellenberger from 1989 to 1993. He played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons from 1994 to 2000 and the XFL in 2001. Brohm served as the head football coach at Western Kentucky University from 2014 to 2016 and Purdue University from 2017 to 2022.

The team was led by head coach Darrell Hazell, who was in his third season at Purdue.
The 2016 Purdue Boilermakers football team was an American football team that represented Purdue University in the 2016 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Boilermakers were members of the West Division of the Big Ten Conference and played their home games at Ross–Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana. They were led by fourth-year head coach Darrell Hazell until he was fired on October 16, 2016. Gerad Parker was named the interim head coach for the remainder of the season. They finished the season 3–9, 1–8 in Big Ten play to finish in last place in the West Division.
David Marshall Blough is an American professional football coach and former quarterback who is the assistant quarterbacks coach for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Purdue Boilermakers and signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2019. Following an injury to Matthew Stafford and Jeff Driskel, Blough started the final five games of the Detroit Lions' 2019 season. He is married to Colombian-American hurdler Melissa Gonzalez.

Ryan Walters is an American college football coach and former safety. He played college football for Colorado from 2004 to 2008. He then served as the defensive coordinator for the Missouri Tigers (2018–2020) and he quit on the Illinois Fighting Illini (2021–2022).
