Gloryland World Cup USA 94 is the official FIFA release for songs of the 1994 FIFA World Cup held in the United States. It has been also published under titles such as Soccer Rocks the Globe:World Cup USA 94. The Global album contains a slightly different set of songs flavored by European-language songs and arrangements not found on Soccer Rocks the World.

Gregory Raymond Quill was an Australian-born musician,singer-songwriter and journalist. He lived in Hamilton,Ontario,Canada,and was an entertainment columnist at the Toronto Star newspaper from the mid-1980s until his death in May 2013. In Australia he came to popular fame as a singer-songwriter for the country rock band Country Radio (1970–73). Their biggest hit,"Gypsy Queen",co-written by Quill with bandmate Kerryn Tolhurst,was released in August 1972 and peaked at No. 12 on the Go-Set National Top 40. After getting an arts grant,Quill travelled to Toronto in 1974 and by the mid-1980s had become a journalist with the Toronto Star. By 1983 he was married to Ellen Davidson,a public relations executive. Greg Quill died on 5 May 2013,at the age of 66,from "complications due to pneumonia".

George Marino was an American mastering engineer known for working on albums by rock bands starting in the late 1960s. Marino mastered and remastered thousands of albums in over forty years. He started his career at Capitol Records and was there from 1967 to 1971,then became a partner in the Record Plant's Master Cutting Room from 1971 to 1973. Marino spent the vast majority of his career mastering at Sterling Sound from 1973 until his death in 2012.
