The Soft Parade is the fourth studio album by American rock band the Doors, released on July 18, 1969, by Elektra Records. Most of the album was recorded following a grueling tour during which the band was left with little time to compose new material. Producer Paul A. Rothchild recommended a total departure from the Doors' first three albums: develop a fuller sound by incorporating brass and string arrangements provided by Paul Harris. Lead singer Jim Morrison, who was dealing with personal issues and focusing more on his poetry, was less involved in the songwriting process, leaving guitarist Robby Krieger to increase his own creative output.
The Main Street Electrical Parade is a nighttime parade, created by Robert Jani and project director Ron Miziker. It features floats and live performers covered in over 600,000 electronically controlled LED lights, and uses a synchronized soundtrack triggered by radio control along key areas of the parade route.

The Black Parade is the third studio album by American rock band My Chemical Romance. "Black Parade" is a charity single by American singer Beyoncé. It was surprise released on June 19, 2020, also referred to as Juneteenth, a day that originated in Beyoncé's home state of Texas commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. Produced by Beyoncé and Derek Dixie in the wake of the murder of George Floyd and the protests that followed it, the song serves as a celebration of Black culture and the support of Black activism. All proceeds from the song benefit BeyGOOD's Black Business Impact Fund, which has since donated a total of $7.15 million to 715 Black-owned small businesses in need. An online directory of Black-owned small businesses called "Black Parade Route" was launched alongside the single's release. An extended version of the song was used in the end credits of Beyoncé's film Black Is King and included in the accompanying deluxe edition of The Lion King: The Gift, both released on July 31, 2020.
