Goli Jan (Persian : گليجان‎, also Romanized as Golī Jān; also known as Kalījār)^[1] is a village in Goli Jan Rural District, in the Central District of Tonekabon County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 406, in 119 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Goli Jan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Tonekabon County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 34,341, in 9,815 families. The rural district has 96 villages.
