Mazubon-e Olya (Persian : مازوبن عليا‎, also Romanized as Māzūbon-e ‘Olyā; also known as Māzūbon)^[1] is a village in Katra Rural District, Nashta District, Tonekabon County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 548, in 162 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Katra Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Nashta District, Tonekabon County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,032, in 2,278 families. The rural district has 17 villages.

Nashta District is a district (bakhsh) in Tonekabon County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 24,583, in 6,867 families. The District has one city: Nashtarud. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Katra Rural District and Tameshkol Rural District.
