Gorbah Dan (Persian : گربه دان‎, also Romanized as Gorbah Dān, Gorbahedān, and Gorbehdān)^[1] is a village in Ramkan Rural District, in the Central District of Qeshm County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 810, in 154 families.^[2] The village suffered heavily in the 2005 Qeshm earthquake.^[3]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. Ramkan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Qeshm County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 13,472, in 2,815 families. The rural district has 14 villages.

The Central District of Qeshm County is a district (bakhsh) in Qeshm County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 68,070, in 15,180 families. The District has two cities: Qeshm and Dargahan. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Howmeh Rural District and Ramkan Rural District.
