Green Bay Voyageurs FC were an American soccer team based in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. Founded in 2018, the team was a member of the USL League Two. [1] The team was owned by Big Top Soccer, who also owns Forward Madison FC of USL League One, and their managing director is Peter Wilt, the former general manager of the Chicago Fire. [2]
The team was officially announced in October 2018. [2] The Voyageurs name and colours were announced on February 9, 2019, at Green Bay Distillery. [3] Fans were given the opportunity to suggest a name for the team in October, with Voyageurs being the most-submitted team name. [4] [3] The club's logo was designed by Matthew Wolff. [3]
The Voyageurs won their debut game 3–0 over WSA Winnipeg on the morning of June 1, 2019. [5] The game, postponed by rain from the previous day, was the inaugural event held at Capital Credit Union Park. [6]
On April 12, 2021, the Voyageurs announced a partnership with Forward Madison to develop and identify players on the Voyageurs's roster that could go pro with the Flamingos. [7]
On January 25, 2022, the team suspended operations for the 2022 season. [8] [9]
The Voyageurs announced their first-ever player, Northern Illinois University forward Nick Markanich, in February 2019. [10]

Brian Kamler is an American soccer coach and former player who is currently the head coach of Green Bay Voyageurs FC in USL League Two. As a player, he played two seasons in the USISL, winning the 1995 U.S. Open Cup and league titles with the Richmond Kickers, and ten seasons in Major League Soccer.
Peter Wilt is a soccer executive who was the first President and General Manager of the Chicago Fire in Major League Soccer, led an effort to bring an expansion MLS franchise to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and maintains strong connections to the sport of soccer in the Midwest, Chicago in particular. Wilt is most known for his work with the Chicago Fire, where he gained a reputation for being a fan-friendly businessman in the soccer world.
