Greg Morton is a Canadian actor, voice actor, director, and comedian from Woodstock, Ontario. [1] He is best known for his "Obama Man" radio routine and his Star Wars -themed standups.

Career

Greg Morton has voice acted and voice directed the cartoons that were recorded in Canada where he did his rendition of Moses Hightower and Larvell Jones in Police Academy: The Series as well as having a main role in Stunt Dawgs .

<i>Police Academy: The Series</i> Television series

Police Academy: The Series is a syndicated 1997 television series spin-off from the Police Academy series of films. Michael Winslow was the only actor from the Police Academy films to have a recurring role on the show, although several of the film's cast made occasional guest appearances. The series was written by Paul Maslansky and produced by James Margellos and Gary M. Goodman.

Stunt Dawgs is an animated comedic adventure series about a team of stunt performers and their bulldog named Human who also solve problems heroically. Based on the 1978 film Hooper, the series was produced by Franklin/Waterman Productions and Rainforest Entertainment and co-created by Jeff Franklin, best known for co-producing Full House. It aired from 1992 to 1993.

Later on, Greg Morton went on to become a comedian where he has shared the stage with other notable acts. He also did his comedy routine at Radio City Music Hall and regularly headlines events at Planet Hollywood, The MGM Theater of the Air, and the Tropicana Casino & Resort Atlantic City. [3]

In 2019, Greg Morton auditioned in season 14 of America's Got Talent . [4] He was the first to audition and won over Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough, and Simon Cowell with his Star Wars impression routine. All four judges voted yes and he moved on to the next round of the competition. [2] During the judge cuts round, he performed a brand new comedy act that he had never tried out before by doing his movie characters impression including Howie Mandel's Gizmo from Gremlins . At the end of the night, he advanced to the live shows. [5] At the live shows, he performed once again and advanced to the semifinals where he does moments from The Mask , Braveheart , Shrek , Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 , The Sixth Sense , Predator , Aliens , The Dark Knight , The Godfather , Rocky , Jerry Maguire , and Terminator 2: Judgment Day . Season fourteen of the reality competition series America's Got Talent premiered on May 28, 2019. Terry Crews, who also hosted America's Got Talent: The Champions, took over as permanent host for season 14. Howie Mandel began his tenth season as a judge, while Simon Cowell returned for his fourth season. Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough joined the judging panel, replacing Mel B and Heidi Klum.

Howie Mandel Canadian stand-up comedian, television host and actor

Howard Michael Mandel is a Canadian comedian, actor and television host. He hosted the CNBC game show Deal or No Deal, as well as the show's daytime and Canadian-English counterparts. In 1987, Mandel starred alongside Amy Steel in the comedy film Walk Like a Man. From 1982 to 1988 Mandel played rowdy ER intern Dr. Wayne Fiscus on the NBC medical drama St. Elsewhere. He also created and starred in the children's cartoon Bobby's World, and judges on NBC's America's Got Talent.

Gabrielle Union American actress

Gabrielle Monique Union-Wade is an American actress, activist, and author. She began her career in the 1990s, appearing on television sitcoms, before landing supporting roles in teenage comedic films She's All That and 10 Things I Hate About You (1999). Her breakthrough role was in the 2000 film Bring It On. In 2019 she joined the hit TV show America's Got Talent as a judge.
