Gymnocypris waddellii is a species of cyprinid fish endemic to Tibet.
Named in honor of Lieut.-Col. Laurence Austine Waddell, CB (1854-1938), British army surgeon, explorer, philologist, linguist, and chemistry and pathology professor, who preserved the type specimens in salt before presenting them to the British Museum (Natural History). [3]

Osteobrama belangeri is a species of ray-finned fish in the genus Osteobrama. It was found in the Indian state of Manipur, but has been extirpated there and as of 2022 is found in the wild only in Myanmar. Farmed populations in Manipur and wild-caught fish from in Myanmar are used as food. The extirpation from Manipur was caused by dam building, habitat degradation and the introduction of alien species which caused the populations to fragment.

The specific name honours the naturalist Thomas Whitelegge (1850-1927) who was a friend of Ogilby's friend and who collected the type.
Gymnocypris przewalskii is a species of cyprinid that is endemic to the Lake Qinghai basin in China, where it is the dominant fish species. G. przewalskii is a planktivore with a main population that migrates from the lake to rivers to spawn and another that lives its entire life in the nearby Ganzi River. The species is listed as endangered on the China Species Red List due to overfishing and habitat loss, which has led to suspension of its commercial fishery four times since 1989.
Ebomegobius goodi is a species of brackish water goby native to a stream in Cameroon and is known from a single specimen. This species grows to a length of 3.5 centimetres (1.4 in) SL. This species is the only known member of its genus. The genus name is a compound of Ebomé, the brackish stream where the species was found, and gobius while the specific name honours the missionary Albert Irwin Good (1884-1975), who collected West African fishes and collected the type of this species.
