Catherine Pugh American politician

Catherine Elizabeth Pugh is an American former politician and convicted felon. A member of the Democratic Party, she served as the 50th mayor of Baltimore from 2016 to 2019, when she resigned amid a scandal that eventually led to criminal charges, three years in prison and three years probation. Pugh has been involved in Maryland politics since 1999, when she was elected to the Baltimore City Council.
