Harpalus froelichii is a species of ground beetle in the subfamily Harpalinae. [1] It was described by Sturm in 1818. [1]

In 324 BC he fled from Babylon to Athens with a large sum of money. The resulting political controversy in Athens was a contributing factor in the Lamian War.

Sturm und Drang was a proto-Romantic movement in German literature and music that occurred between the late 1760s and early 1780s. In Europe, it is only absent in the following countries or islands: the Azores, the Canary Islands, the Channel Islands, Crete, Cyclades, Dodecanese, the Faroe Islands, Franz Josef Land, Gibraltar, Iceland, Madeira, Malta, Monaco, the North Aegean islands, Novaya Zemlya, San Marino, the Savage Islands, Sicily, Svalbard and Jan Mayen, and Vatican City. Its presence on the Balearic Islands and Sardinia is doubtful.
