Harrold Independent School District is a public school district based in the community of Harrold, Texas (USA) located in far eastern Wilbarger County. All students attend school in one building.
On August 15, 2008, The board of the Harrold Independent School District unanimously approved to let teachers bring guns to class. The identity of these so-called "guardians" are known only to the Superintendent and the school board, who approve each individual. [1]
In 2009, the school district was rated "recognized" by the Texas Education Agency. [2]
Harrold High School plays six-man football.
Wilbarger County is a county located in the North Texas region of the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2020 census, the population was 12,887. The county seat is Vernon. The county was created in 1858 and later organized in 1881. Wilbarger is named for Josiah Pugh Wilbarger and Mathias Wilbarger, two early settlers.

DeVry Advantage Academy and CLC at H.P. Carter was a high school in the Fifth Ward of Houston, Texas, operated in conjunction with DeVry University. It was in the former Carter Career Center/Wheatley High School/E.O. Smith Education Center building. The school offered students the opportunity to receive a high school diploma and a degree in web graphic design at the same time. It opened in 2011 and closed in 2012.
