Heather Steacy (born April 14, 1988 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian track and field athlete competing in the hammer throw. She competed in the hammer throw event at the 2012 Summer Olympics where she finished 34th. She is the younger sister of Canadian Olympic hammer thrower James Steacy. [1]
In July 2016 she was officially named to Canada's Olympic team. [2] She finished in 23rd place. [3]
During the University of Lethbridge's 50th anniversary, Heather Steacy was named #7 Pronghorn of all time, recognizing not only her Olympic success, but also her 2 time win of the prestigious Pronghorn of the Year award. [4]

They have men's and women's teams that compete in U Sports basketball, rugby union, soccer, swimming, and track and field. Previously, they competed in ice hockey until 2020. He represented Canada at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. With a top 12 finish at the 2008 Summer Olympics, he became the first Canadian in 84 years to reach the Olympic hammer throw final. Competing for University of Lethbridge, he is a five time CIS national champion in the weight throw and is the current CIS record holder in the event. He is the older brother of Canadian hammer thrower Heather Steacy. He currently serves as a police officer for Lethbridge Police Service, in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Jennifer Dahlgren Fitzner is an Argentine hammer thrower. Having spent much of her life in the United States, she competed as an amateur for the University of Georgia. She set the US collegiate hammer record and was the NCAA Outdoor champion in both 2006 and 2007. She is a three-time gold medallist at the South American Championships and won the bronze medal at the 2007 Pan American Games.
Dylan Armstrong is a Canadian athletics coach and retired competitive shot putter. He is the 2008 Olympic bronze medalist, a two-time World Athletics Championships medalist, a two-time Pan American Games champion, and the 2010 Commonwealth Games champion in that discipline.
