Hecistopteris pinnatifida is a fern species in the Vittarioideae subfamily of the Pteridaceae. ^[2] It is endemic to Ecuador. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss. ^[1]
