Helen Mary Slatter (born 7 June 1970) is an English former swimmer.
Born in King's Lynn, Norfolk, she represented Great Britain at the Olympic Games in 1988, 1992 and 1996, [1] Her international results include finishing 11th in the 200m backstroke at the 1991 World Championships and 13th in the 100m backstroke at the 1996 Olympic Games.
She represented England in the 100 metres backstroke, at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New Zealand. [2] Four years later she competed five events in the backstroke, butterfly and individual medley events, at the 1994 Commonwealth Games and made a third appearance at the 1998 Commonwealth Games when competing in the 100 metres backstroke event. [3]
She won the 1994 ASA National British Championships title in the 200 metres butterfly [4] and the 1992 and 1994 ASA National Championship title in the 400 metres medley. [5] [6]

Donna-Marie Gurr, CM is a former swimmer from Canada, who won the bronze medal in the 200m backstroke at the 1972 Summer Olympics.
Andrew David Jameson is an English sports commentator and former competitive swimmer. Active as an elite swimmer in the mid to late 1980s he represented Great Britain in two consecutive Summer Olympics, the FINA World Championships, LEN European Championships, as well as England in the Commonwealth Games. At his peak between 1986 and 1988 he won the gold medal in 100 metre butterfly at the 1986 Commonwealth Games, the 1987 European Aquatics Championships and the 1987 Summer Universiade, as well as the 100 metre freestyle gold at the same Universiade. Winning the bronze medal at the 1986 World Aquatics Championships, Jameson's career in the pool culminated in winning the bronze medal in the 1988 Summer Olympics, his second and final Olympic Games.
