Henry James Hunt (born 7 January 1997) is an Australian cricketer, [1] currently playing for South Australia as an opening batter. [2]
Hunt grew up living on a farm near a small town between Grenfell and Cowra in New South Wales. [3] His father,James Hunt,had played for the Canberra Raiders,a rugby league team,and built a cricket net in the backyard of their family home. [3] He has two younger sisters,Anna and Clare,who is a member of the national soccer team. [4]
He originally played grade cricket for Queanbeyan District and was first selected to play for the ACT/NSW Country Comets in the 2014–15 season of the Futures League. [3] Hunt played for Australia under-19s in 2015–16, [2] and he was named in Australia's squad that was scheduled to play in the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup,but withdrew from the tournament due to security concerns. [5]
In the 2018–19 season Hunt scored 208 in a Futures League match against Queensland Under-23s, [6] followed by another four half-centuries during the season. He was the tournament's leading run-scorer with 737 runs at an average of 46.06. [2] During the 2018–19 season,Hunt also played for Eastern Suburbs in Sydney Grade Cricket,and he equalled Johan Botha's record for the fastest Twenty20 century in the competition,scoring 104 runs off of 45 deliveries against UNSW. He made his Twenty20 debut on 2 January 2022,for the Adelaide Strikers in the 2021–22 Big Bash League season. [8]
On the back of his performances in the 2018–19 season,Hunt earned a rookie contract with South Australia for the 2019–20 season. [7] He made his first-class debut on 10 October 2019,against Victoria in the 2019–20 Sheffield Shield season. [9] In his first innings he scored his maiden half-century, [10] finishing with a total of 75 runs. [9]
On 11 November 2019,in a Sheffield Shield match against Tasmania,Hunt scored his maiden century in first-class cricket in just his fourth first-class match. He scored 132 and had a 293-run partnership with Jake Weatherald,breaking a 52-year-old record for the highest opening partnership for South Australia in first-class cricket. In Hunt's innings he hit 17 boundaries,including a six. [11] [12] [13] [14] Hunt followed up his century with another half-century in the second innings. [14] [15]
He made his List A debut on 28 November 2021,for South Australia in the 2021–22 Marsh One-Day Cup. [16] On 25 February 2022,Hunt was named as captain of South Australia for the remainder of the 2021–22 Sheffield Shield season in the absence of Travis Head and Alex Carey. [17] On 9 October 2022,Hunt secured a draw against Victoria by facing 326 balls for 97 runs and batting out the final day. [18] Hunt stood down from the captaincy prior to the end of the 2022–23 Sheffield Shield season to focus solely on batting. [19]
In February 2024,Hunt was ruled out of the remainder of the 2023-24 summer following a fielding incident during a Marsh One Day Cup match against Victoria. [20]
Callum James Ferguson is a former Australian cricketer and commentator who has represented Australia in all three forms of international cricket. He also represented South Australia in the JLT One-Day Cup. He was formerly the captain of the Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League before being released at the end of the 2020–21 season

Alexander James Doolan is an Australian former cricketer,who played domestic cricket for Tasmania from 2009 to 2021 and played four Test matches for Australia in 2014. Kurtis Robert Patterson is an Australian cricketer who plays for the New South Wales cricket team in the Sheffield Shield,and the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League. Patterson scored a century on his first-class cricket debut for New South Wales in November 2011,becoming the youngest batsman to score a century in Sheffield Shield cricket. In January 2019,he made his Test debut for Australia against Sri Lanka,becoming the 457th person to play test cricket for Australia. He made a century in just his second test match in Canberra,also against Sri Lanka. He was not selected for the 2019 Ashes series and returned to play domestically in the 2019/2020 season. He has the highest average of any Test batsman who has lost their wicket at least once.

Travis Michael Head is an Australian international cricketer who represents the Australia national cricket team in all formats. A left-handed batter and part-time right arm off-spin bowler,Head plays for South Australia,Adelaide Strikers,Sunrisers Hyderabad and Washington Freedom. He was formerly a co vice-captain of the Australian national team in Tests from January 2019 to November 2020 but then renamed again as co vice-captain alongside Steve Smith at the beginning of the 2023 series against Pakistan. Head captained Australia in T20Is and served as vice-captain in ODIs in 2024.
Kelvin Ross Smith is a cricketer who played for South Australia,Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Renegades. He made his first-class debut on 30 October 2013 for South Australia against Queensland and played a series of List A matches for the National Performance Squad in 2014. He is the younger brother of fellow cricketer James Smith.
Marnus Labuschagne is an Australian international cricketer who captains Queensland and plays for Glamorgan in county cricket and for Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League. Well known for his moustache,Lehmann began his first-class career in the 2014–15 season and enjoyed early success,scoring a double century in his second season. He began playing for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League in 2015 and hit a match-winning six against the Hobart Hurricanes in the first ball of his career and the last ball of the innings.

Originally from Darwin in the Northern Territory,he is an opening batsman who plays for Tasmania in both first-class and one-day cricket and plays for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League. He had a breakout season in 2015–16,making his first-class debut for South Australia in the Sheffield Shield and scoring two half-centuries in the final. He has since had contracts with both South Australia and the Strikers in every season.

Formerly an Australian rules footballer,he is currently a wicket-keeper who plays for the Australian national team in test match and one day formats. In domestic cricket,he plays for South Australia and Adelaide Strikers.
