Highland High School is a public high school in Granger Township, Ohio, United States, near Medina. The school serves students from Hinckley, Granger, Sharon, Montville, Copley, Medina, and Brunswick townships. In 2022, Highland High School was ranked by #1,055 nationally and #41 in Ohio by U.S. News.[2]

Athletics
Highland High School competes in the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) as a member of the Suburban League American Conference. In the late 1970s and early 1980s the Hornets wrestling team was a regular state championship contender, winning the Division II state title in 1975 and 1981.[3] The girls' volleyball team won the Division II state championship in 1981.[4]
In December 2013, after many years of planning, the Highland Board of Education revealed plans for a new athletic complex. This complex includes a football stadium featuring a turf field, eight lane track, locker room facilities, multiple restroom facilities, multiple food vending facilities, a video scoreboard, and seating for 5,000 people. The complex also features tennis courts, and additional parking areas. The stadium was constructed on land that was being used as a practice field for the marching band, and the tennis courts were constructed west of the new stadium where a wooded area was previously. This project is projected to cost seven to eight million dollars with most of the funding coming from private sources. The complex was completed in August 2015.
The final varsity football game was played at the original Highland Stadium located at Highland Middle School on October 17, 2014, against Revere High School. The game resulted in a 24–10 victory for Highland and included a number of special events. Since 2015, this stadium is used for the practices of several sports programs and for middle school sports home games.
Walsh Jesuit High School is a private, Catholic, co-educational college preparatory high school in the Jesuit tradition, located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, approximately 30 miles (48 km) south of Cleveland.
Columbus Academy (CA) is a selective, independent college-preparatory school for students from pre-kindergarten to twelfth grade. The school is located on a large, secluded campus surrounded by wooded areas in Gahanna, Ohio in the United States, 8 miles from downtown Columbus. The academy was founded in 1911 by J. L. Hamill in Bexley, Ohio and moved to its current campus in 1968. Originally an all-boys school, it became coeducational in 1991 when the board of trustees decided to admit girls. From its conception, the school expanded over time to a matriculation level of 1,000 students. Columbus Academy students and alumni often refer to the school as "Academy."
Kenston High School is a public high school located in Bainbridge Township, Ohio, near Chagrin Falls. It serves most of Bainbridge Township and all of neighboring Auburn Township and is the only high school in the Kenston Local School District. Kenston High School was established in 1953 with the consolidation of the Auburn and Bainbridge Township schools and moved to its current facility in August 2006. Academics include a wide array of courses and it fields numerous boys and girls sports teams. Athletic teams are known as the Bombers and the school colors are blue and white.
Anthony Wayne High School is a public high school in Whitehouse, Ohio, a suburb of Toledo. The school has an enrollment of approximately 1,330 students in grades 9–12 as of 2019–20. The school is named for General Anthony Wayne, who led troops in the nearby Battle of Fallen Timbers during the Northwest Indian War.
Central Catholic High School is a private, Catholic coeducational diocesan high school in Perry Township, Ohio run by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown. Central began educating in 1946 when the Diocese merged the all-female Mount Marie Academy and the co-ed St. John High School. Although Central is a Catholic high school, it is open to non-Catholic students as well. This school is located in Perry Township, Stark County, Ohio and serves the west side of Canton, Ohio, and Western Stark County, including the City of Massillon, Ohio. Central Catholic's sports teams are nicknamed the "Crusaders".
